Blue Anchor Grill, located in Island Park, Portsmouth RI, is an upscale casual restaurant with superb dishes prepared by our own Chef Geo. Our menu features fresh seafood, high quality ingredients and weekly specials of wonderfully creative dishes. We provide a warm friendly atmosphere with New England charm. In the summer months, guests can enjoy outdoor dining on our dog-friendly patio.

Wine Down Wednesday - Bottles & Glasses of Wine are 50% off.

Tacos & Tini's Thursdays - Order any Tacos & get a Martini of choice for $7 (some restrictions apply).

OPEN ALL DAY SUNDAYS - Our full menu available all day, and Brunch is served from 9am - 2pm.
Brew & Burger Sunday - Choose a Specialty Burger and a Draught Beer for $17 only on Sundays! Choose from the Anchor Burger, The Cheesy American, Hot Burger, The Goat, Mushroom & Swiss or Sweet Potato & Black Bean Burger, includes fries.

Live Music - Friday & Saturday Nights from 6:30 to 9:30pm.

Excellent experience at the Blue Anchor! Our waiter was incredible. Young man was attentive and informative. We had a wonderful conversation with him about his future as we were exiting. The food was fantastic! Kudos to the chef! Will definitely go back on our next visit to Portsmouth RI.

Unfortunately we were seated right in front of the entertainment for the evening. He was EXCELLENT, but it was so loud we couldn’t converse. Food was excellent - as always. Service outstanding.

We love Sandy! shes very welcoming. The food is great...chocolate wontons, tacos of all kinds...we will def make this a staple place...just didnt appreciate being seated next to the very load music...we were saying good bye to a friend leaving the country ( for good)and not being able to chat was a real bummer...but, we chatted with Sandy about it and again, she was awesome!

The menu is small, but the food was very good, as usual. The drinks were also delicious. My one complaint is that the kitchen closed while we were still eating dinner, and our waitress did not inform us of this so when we went to order dessert, we were unable to do so. In addition, a couple of menu items were sold out, which was disappointing.

We love the Blue Anchor Grill. The mussels, burgers, lobster roll, and mahi mahi tacos were excellent. Gracen's service was top-notch. We have been on the look-out for a good steak for my father. I remembered my husband and sister-in-law loving your steak frites, but it wasn't on the menu, so my dad tried the rib-eye. Unfortunately, he thought the ribeye was tough. But everything else was wonderful. Thanks for a fun night.

Our second time this year. Food and drinks were outstanding just as good as last time. Mark Flynn was playing and he was great! Service was on point and always kept the drinks cold and asked if we needed anything. We’ll be back!
