Blue Agave Grill is a local, independent, and Colorado grown restaurant! We are full service dishing up contemporary southwestern cuisine with a full bar and over 120 tequilas. We feature a from-scratch kitchen with many gluten free options as well as a large selection of margaritas, house infused tequilas, and homemade sangria. From made-to-order guacamole to our vibrant atmosphere, come on down and try a flight of our favorite margs and tequilas.

    Our server was patient and excellent. She even allowed us to stay past official closing time for us to enjoy our conversation without complaint. Thank you again.

    The sangria was mostly some carbonated liquid. The mains came out about 5 minutes after the appetizer. The chile relleno was mostly cheese on top of a smashed pepper. Overall, not that good.

    Three different menu items were all very good. The Tacos en Fuego, available with either steak or Carnitas was more like fajitas than tacos, but was delicious. We were happy to be seated outside on a stretch of the 16th St. mall that has been reopened after reconstruction, and it was very pleasant and much quieter than inside.

    Food was fantastic. One of the best steak burritos I’ve ever had. My wife loved her top shelf enchiladas. It’s a little pricey but great quality.

    The restaurant is very inviting. Love the lighting and peaceful atmosphere. Food is great! Waitress was good but spread thin. Location was great.

    The restaurant is beautiful. The bathrooms are clean and modern. We were seated at a booth in the bar. Abby? According to my receipt was our server and the bartender. We were there during happy hour. She executed the cocktails well . Except for my friend who wanted a well martini. She was told that could not be done due to the cost of olives etc. Had she offered to up charge her that would have been fine and my friend would have been happy. I don't drink alcohol so I was informed my only option was fountain drinks. Eew. Even if not on the menu a bartender can easily make a mocktail. At least offer. I would pay happy hour price for a good na marg or something. Outside of paying for service I would never tell a women to smile.I think it would have been nice if she had at least once. Perhaps she was busier than we realized or was supposed to be going home soon. I didn't have a great view but she seemed unhappy either in general or with us, not sure. We were dressed a bit not normal as we were going to a concert. We did not all arrive at the same time though as each person arrived they ordered or tried to order a drink and shortly after an app. 4 people first arrived at 4 last at 4:12.. The food was good. The happy hour tacos were a good and a good value. I orderd the seafood nachos. They were 8 or 10 individual loaded chips Having them loaded like that was nice and they were delicious but a bit small for $19. Granted seafood. The chili releno was very cheesey, We did ask her for her recommendation which she provided between the two options. My friend liked her chicken dish. The cornbread was a nice size with I think an apple brown butter spread.i didn't notice that mentioned in the menu. Would've liked that tourguided. Truffle ( bacon?)Brussel sprouts were delicious!!! She did refill our waters. I can't remember if she offered or we asked but we did receive a box promptly. She did ask and did separate checks correctly. Functions were executed.
