Blue Violet is a hidden gem located in the Aloft Hotel with spectacular views of Providence Jewelry District, Providence River, Water Place Park, and the Point Street Bridge.
Serving Dinner and craft cocktails.
We offer Sunday Brunch from 10am to 3pm. Our R & B Brunch offers a live DJ playing your favorite R&B hits. Reservations strongly encouraged. Sip & Sass Specials 4pm-6pm Thurs-Sat
OUTDOOR seating available on a first come first serve basis.

The food was DELICIOUS!! The vibes were immaculate. The DJs set was 10/10! R&B songs hit every time. The host was extremely accommodating and Ellie our server was amazing and extremely attentive. I got the French Toast with a Banana Flambé and my mother got the polenta Benedict… again absolutely delicious!! I would definitely come down to Providence again just for the Blu Violet vibes and food!

Great view of the city. That's what you are there for! So the food and service are adequate. Can't beat the view with a limited menu.

The vibe was perfect. The food not so much. The staff was attentive and helpful. This is a good spot for drinks and having a nice time any time of day. But it’s not what I would select for the meals. The drinks were great. Thank you for a very nice experience celebrating my daughter birthday. 🥰🥰

We made a 10am reservation for the R&B DJ brunch and to our disappointment there was no DJ and they weren’t even playing R&B from the 90s and 00s in the back ground. We asked the server and told her that was the reason we made reservations and she offered no apology. All she said was the DJ was on his way. On our way up the elevator we met the executive chef. She was very nice and saved brunch because her food was delicious! We were finishing off our anniversary weekend and made this reservation as a finale. We would have opted to head home earlier and spend our money elsewhere had we known there would be no DJ. Don’t advertise that for 10am-3pm R&B DJ brunch if you can’t follow through. Looked like the DJ was setting up for 11am.

Excellent venue for a Sunday brunch. Food was excellent! Love the specialty drinks and cocktails. Must try all items on menu. I will be back.
