Plant-based gluten-free restaurant in Wicker Park. We have always had the core belief of being as good to ourselves (and the earth) as possible, but as we grow, we have always wanted to do more. With this desire, we decided to open Bloom Plant Based kitchen. Not only is eating a more plant-based diet healthier and more forgiving to one’s body, but it is significantly better for the environment. However, with healthy plant-based options not being the popular choice, we know we have stiff competition. Therefore, our intention with Bloom is to focus on bringing flavorful, healthy, and affordable plant-based food to families while also being desirable and appealing to everyone regardless of their diet

The food was amazing! Lots of interesting dishes! Jackfruit and crab cakes were the top favorite! Drinks were just okay. Overall experience was pretty good!

This is probably the 4th time we have been there. Food is always impeccable. It is a shame non-vegan folks don't come here more because it is an exquisite meal and great experience no matter what your tastes.

This was my third time dining here in 3 months and second time doing the Chefs tasting. It was equally enjoyable this time around. My only suggestion for improvement was a few of the wine pours were too little to enjoy with the serving size. Still overall an enjoyable experience and would highly recommend for the innovative cooking!

We had a delightful dinner. Many creative and delicious dishes. We especially enjoyed the oysters and the turnip causa. Excellent service. We look forward to returning.

We got the tasting menu and it was fantastic. Highlights were the stuffed piquillos, , turnip “caviar” and the chocolate mousse on the lemon shortbread. Drink- Naked Pesco. Entire menu was Vegan/Gluten Free. Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back.

Can't say enough good things about this vegan restaurant. Every dish was delicious and we were often amazed at how they were created. I just wished we'd gone with additional people so we could have tried more dishes.

All the food was great, but the stuffed piquillos were phenomenal! Instead of ordering dessert we decided to get another order of peppers - they were that good! Overall, Bloom is a must-stop for anyone (plant based diet or not) spending time in Chicago.
