Plant-based gluten-free restaurant in Wicker Park. We have always had the core belief of being as good to ourselves (and the earth) as possible, but as we grow, we have always wanted to do more. With this desire, we decided to open Bloom Plant Based kitchen. Not only is eating a more plant-based diet healthier and more forgiving to one’s body, but it is significantly better for the environment. However, with healthy plant-based options not being the popular choice, we know we have stiff competition. Therefore, our intention with Bloom is to focus on bringing flavorful, healthy, and affordable plant-based food to families while also being desirable and appealing to everyone regardless of their diet

The 6-course menu will feature a combination of shared and individual plates, showcasing our signature dishes alongside some exclusive new items available only to you. I could eat that turnip causa every day. Everything was delicious. The service was great. Lily recommended what to order and a cocktail for my son. She was super friendly and helpful with my dietary restrictions also.

The food and drinks were good. Everything was a little pricey, which is to be expected at a specialty restaurant that handles multiple dietary restrictions. I went with a large group - 2 vegans and 1 gluten free person plus multiple people who eat everything - and everyone was pleased with the meal. The food was tasty and we were full when we left. I don’t know if I’d go back on my own, but I will always highly recommend this restaurant to people looking for a delicious gluten free and/ or plant based option. They allowed us to bring in a stroller.

Really classy plant based food, some of the best I’ve tasted. The jackfruit steak with Malbec demiglaze and potato dauphinoise really felt like cheating it was so steak like, and the recreation of a tuna carpaccio with caviar using turnip as the base was genius cooking. The service couldn’t have been more informative, cheerful and helpful, all round a special treat.

I made reservations for brunch. Service was fabulous. The best French toast I have EVER had.The croquettes were amazing.

The menu is always interesting and caters to so many different diets depending on your preferences. LOVE having the option of a vegan menu that truly provides high quality cuisine across a full/varied menu prepared with thought and care. Always a warm atmosphere in the restaurant and with the service team.

Superb experience. Our server Zach was attentive and the food was truly outstanding. The churro waffles and fried mushroom and waffles were delicious. We greatly appreciated the safety and reassurance that everything was GF and vegan. The celiac in our group had a great experience.

As a non-vegan mom of a vegan and gluten-free daughter, I'm used to going to restaurants and saying, "This was good for a vegan restaurant." Bloom exceeds all expectations--it tops other restaurants, period. World class cuisine, creatively prepared and served. What a joy!
