Situated in the heart of the picturesque and peaceful village of Blockley in the Cotswolds, Blockley Cafe provides an all year round artisan dining experience for foodies and families alike.

Our team look forward to giving you a warm welcome whether it’s for breakfast, lunch, dinner or simply coffee and cake.

We currently accept online reservations for dinner only when you can experience our popular fine dining Kembleford menu.

During the daytime we do not accept reservations and offer a walk in service.

Wheelchair users are accommodated at ground floor tables in our Bar area.

We allow well behaved dogs in our Bar area.

Visited at night for the supper menu. Genuine great food, cooked to a good standard with an unpretentious atmosphere. Second visit & very consistent. Will be back again soon.

Just amazing food at a very reasonable price. The attention to detail was everywhere which made it a very memorable meal.

We had heard good things about Blockley Cafe, so booked a table of four, consisting of two couples. I cannot fault the presentation and taste of the food, the quality of the wine and cocktails. The service ws friendly and efficient. We will be going back!

what a fabulous place to eat and drink and the staff are just spot on and extremely helpful. The food is just outstanding, the village should be very privileged to have this on their door step.

Really good food, well presented with excellent flavours and far more interesting than many local restaurants. Its great to have such a top notch, good value eatery without driving to a busy town. The front of house team is friendly and welcoming and such a lovely spot. Thank you for a superb evening. We will definitely be returning.

We dined as a table of 4 on Friday night and unfortunately left fairly disappointed. I have been before a few years ago and was blown away but the experience this time was sub par. The cocktails, bread and arancini were all delicious to start with. Although the plates of arancini were placed in front of 2 of our group, not in between guests and weren’t introduced; luckily we figured out they were meant to be shared but this could have been awkward. Between us, we tried all 3 starters. The asparagus salad was bland, but heard good feedback from the others on the sweetbreads and scallops. 3 of us had the duck, 2 plates came out first and it was cooked really well but the last duck breast to arrive was overcooked (not pink) and significantly smaller than the others. We also all agreed it was over seasoned. The fourth main was the risotto which just didn’t taste very nice and was very heavy on the hazelnuts which unfortunately spoiled the dish. After the food arrived, the waiting staff disappeared and didn’t come back to check if everything was okay. When the plates were cleared, no one asked if we enjoyed the meal either. Puddings were nice but the cheeseboard stole the show. I had noted on the booking that we were celebrating my mum’s birthday and that was completely ignored and no effort was made to find out whose birthday it was and congratulate them. Overall I thought it was overpriced for the quality of food and service we received but I really hope this was a one off as I love the concept of this restaurant and want to support small local businesses.
