The name BLOCK ONE represents the first vineyard planted in 2009 and is very special to
Proprietors Sheri-Lee and Curtis. “It taught us to be farmers; to be ONE with the land. There are things we will never experience again. That vineyard block represents the past – the starting point, getting our
hands dirty, all the ‘firsts’ of our business”. BLOCK ONE represents the future as this vineyard block now produces some of the estate’s finest fruit for our international award-winning wines. You will be amazed by the outdoor seating area of the restaurant. Seating is covered by an engineering wonder in a one-of-a-kind cantilever that is already drawing attention in the world's architectural community. The restaurant moves to an equally impressive indoor space during inclement days and in the winter months.

All groups of 6 and larger are subject to an auto-gratuity of 20%. At this moment we do not have a dog friendly table available.

Excellent service and very friend and knowledge about menu. The food was outstanding. The only dish I would have loved done differently was the duck. Thought an orange favourite would have been nicer.

We went to celebrate our anniveraary. We appreciated the new sharing menu and the waitress assisting us in the variety we had wanted for dinner. We had both the waghu beef with homemade kimchi along with the sea to table. It was all delicious! Cocktails and wine pairing perfect. Dessert choice amazing , with lattes as well. Thank you! We have eaten here several times over the years, and this was our best meal yet!

As always, the food is crafted and presented with care and passion. Our waiter was courteous, helpful and quick at every step. And the vineyard and lake beyond make the ambiance special.

The food was fabulous. We had been assured by the taster in the winery that we would not be hot in the restaurant, for although they didn’t have AC, they had fans and misters. We were hot and left as soon our food was done.

A culinary delight to choose from an array of new and favorite plates. Excellent portion sizes, food cooked to perfection complimented by exceptional flavors from fresh ingredients. Excellent wine pairing and gorgeous atmosphere and attentive service- all amazing.

Friendly attentive staff and amazing food. Was something for everyone on the menu ( even for celiacs !) Will definitely be back!

The winery is absolutely gorgeous. The outside patio was so comfortable even on a very hot day. Our service was top notch (the best we received out of all the wineries we visited). The food and wine was so delicious. Would absolutely recommend and hope to return if we end up visiting again!

I have been to 50th Parallel for two past experiences, one was a wine tasting in the winery in the summer of 2022 and one last winter at Block ONE for dinner. The wine tasting experience was sub-par for the fact that we brought a friend who was a wheelchair user and there was no accommodation for accessibility at their tasting bar! The wine ambassador had to hand the wine glasses down over the bar to our friend! When we ate at Block ONE we had an exceptional experience from start to finish, the service, food and ambience were amazing. We thought we would try it again this summer. Upon arrival the individual at the check in asked if it was "just the three of you guys"? We are all women. It happened to be one of the hottest days so far to sit on the patio and take in the view.....they did have mist machines and shades to roll down. However, when we tried to move our own table just a bit to get one of our party out of the direct line of sun, we were chastized. As the sun dropped a little more it took alot to convince the server to roll down the shade just a foot so we weren't getting the sun directly in our eyes. We were basically told they could do it so WE were comfortable but it make everyone else uncomfortable as there would be less air moving and they would have to turn off the mist. The server later returned to do it for us anyway! As usual we were not disappointed with the food, it is always amazing and the drinks were delicious. I realize that many of the staff are likely summer hires, and different every year. And not sure what their training is like as new hires are onboarded but maybe some customer service and inclusion training at the beginning of the season would be helpful? We would still go back again despite these couple of small hiccups.
