Locally sourced produce and the freshest ingredients means excellent food that is exceptional in taste.
We accept reservations on our website: blockislandoysterbarandgrill.com from 5 - 6:30 pm, after that it is first come first serve. Open 6 nights/wk, closed Wed. NOTE: We CANNOT serve you if you have a seafood/shellfish allergy. IF YOU RESERVE A TABLE OUTSIDE WE CANNOT GUARANTEE YOU WILL BE MOVED INSIDE DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER, THOUGH IT IS COVERED. For parties greater than 6, please call the restaurant reservation line to check availability @401-402-9225. If you don't cancel reservation 24 hrs in advance you will be charged $25/pp (same policy for NO SHOW). Looking forward to seeing you!

    Service was excellent from the start. Our waitress was so friendly, attentive, and offered great recommendations. The food was exceptional, with equally appealing cocktails. It’s such a serene ambiance, hidden away from street level. We try to go every year given our great past experiences.

    Great meal, atmosphere and service. Our table was in the garden. Highly recommend the watermelon salad and oysters Thermidor as appetizers. The entrees were excellent as well.

    First you do not need a reservation at 6pm on a Wednesday. Great table great view. Ordered lobster roll and sides. Lobster roll was good needed drawn butter which they had to return for, Onion Rings were old and very chewy. Great mudslide and flatbread. Hard to understand server but I get it.

    Oysters Rockefeller were fabulous swordfish with lobster mashed potatoes was incredible , cod with forbidden rice fantastic Ended with Keylime pie overall a great restaurant will go back again

    We loved it all. We had oysters with as an appetizer. This was excellent. Also had clams with linguine and the shrimp with sticky rice both excellent dishes. Our waiter Kosmo was excellent

    Everything was exceptional. Sat out side and it was beautiful. The miso cod was exceptional. Can’t wait to go back.

    Wonderful experience and lovely location both inside and out (we ate outside). Enjoyed a cocktail on the porch to start. Capped the whole thing off with a tasty carrot cake dessert!
