Our Chef’s take inspiration from Billy Madison who drew a blue duck because he had never seen one before, and he wanted to see a blue duck! Well, since our chefs love classic Adam Sandler humor and innovative cooking, we thought that Bleu Duck was the perfect name to showcase our fun environment and staff as well as our unique and creative menu. Just like Billy, we like to try things that you’ve never seen before!

Bleu Duck Kitchen and Oyster Bar is a full service restaurant that provides a fun and welcoming atmosphere where white linens meet a casual feel to create the new concept of “fun-dining”. Co-Owners Erik Kleven and Jennifer Lester regard each customer as a welcomed friend, and aim to provide them with an experience that is both personal and unique every time they visit.

Every time I am in Rochester, I come to Bleu Duck. It is absolutely amazing everytime. We had a group of 10, and Kelsey, who had been my server a few times, did such an amazing job! The food was absolutely fantastic. When you are visiting Rochester make this a must visit for dinner.

Great coctails, oysters, duck, seafood stew, calamari, crepe cake, chocolate tart. We sat in window, quieter than main floor. Good for us old folks. Loved it. If we lived here we would be regulars.

It is no wonder this is such a popular restaurant! The menu offers a variety of unique and exciting dishes. We were blown away by the bold and innovative flavors. Definitely a culinary gem! Everything from the food to the service was top-notch. It’s rare to find a place that delivers on every level, and this restaurant exceeded my expectations. A must-visit!

Absolutely fabulous dining. We enjoyed the oysters, grilled watermelon salad, and the steelhead salmon. The servers were knowledgeable about each dish we asked about. The 16 layer crepe pumpkin cake was out of this world. Our favorite place in Rochester by far.

The ambience was awesome.. the service was great! We had Benjamin! He was the best and the food was delicious! I had the duck and my husband had seafood stew and we also had the delicious and delectable pumpkin cake! All amazing ! Will come back when we visit from NY! Wonderful experience ! Tanya ♥️Frank

It was my birthday dinner treat and a treat it was indeed. The duck was medium rare perfection and the Elk osso buco was fork tender delicious. Wine pairing with the fresh oysters was spot on. Service was great. I am looking forward to another visit soon.

Every time I’m in Rochester I make it a point to eat at Bleu Duck. It’s absolutely fantastic and the menu changes seasonally which is awesome! Whether eating solo or with a large group, Bleu Duck is a must when in Rochester.

The Bleu Duck is the best restaurant in the area for an experience while dining. The food options are always interesting and eclectic. The drinks are excellent. The staff perform at a high level.
