It was my first time visiting this restaurant, I came here for my anniversary. I made a reservation online, they asked “are you celebrating anything when you book online, and special request stuff like that. I put exactly what we were celebrating. Apparently all the instructions or what we were celebrating were missed by the employees. We did asked to be seated with a view when we were making the appointment because that’s why I chose this location over the Astoria location, but unfortunately no one read the instructions and I didn’t wanna be that customer. We didn’t get the view we were tucked away in the back which I ended up liking because it gave a sense of privacy, but the waitress wasn’t aware we were celebrating anything until I mentioned it, we got complimentary dessert at the end though. My food was ok, my husband’s was to die for he got a seafood thingy with scallop lobster shrimp etc. that was a 10/10. I got the salmon to me it was bland didn’t like it that much, it’s just not for me. Apparently there are deals going on Monday-Thursday that makes the restaurant buzzing. We went on a Monday night, it was happy hour all night and 50% off bottled alcohol. My main complaint was how we rarely saw our waitress it’s like we were forgotten about most of the times and it’s hard to get a hold of her when we are all the way in the back with no view of the main dining area. We found our selves sitting waiting for her to come back to order something, ask a question and even to ask for the check. The restaurant is great over all just the service was a bit on the disappointed side I would go back though because I believe in redemption and second chances in certain situation. This being one :)

I Waited too long for my table. There were plenty of tables available and even with my 9pm reservation I wasn’t seated until 925. I think they were short staffed. The table service was also slower than I’ve ever experienced before. I would have ordered more food but it was taking too long and getting late.

the food is trash, the chicken the pernil and the meat portion as well. Needs more flavor and if was a slow Wednesday night

Overall the experience at Blend on the Water was great!! We were seated promptly and on time. the server took some time to accommodate and take our order. She didn't apologize for the delay. After getting over that orders and drinks and appetizers arrived promptly. The food was great!! The drinks were great as well. The venue is beautiful. Great views. The live band was dope. I enjoyed my meal and also enjoyed my company. Good conversation.. Good vibe. i would recommend Blend on the Water.

The decor, our meals were delicious. We had a lovely time. Our waitress was a great. We will make another reservation soon.
