Food was great, service not so much. Our server honestly checked in maybe once. We had to ask other people for plates for our apps. We had to ask a couple people to refill waters

We came for lunch to celebrate a friend's birthday. Our server was friendly and helpful, answering our questions and checking back with us to be sure everything was fine. Food was fabulous. The Short Rib Machaca was enormous and delicious. The Short Rib Machaca Bowl was just right for a lunch, and was likewise delicious. We greatly enjoyed the Sangria and a non-alcoholic cocktail with our meal, and they treated us with a free flan to celebrate my friend's birthday. They could, and should, tone down the music. It was really loud. Other than that we had a thoroughly enjoyable time.

Great spot. Full of energy with very well done decor. Food was fantastic. I have been several times and will continue to go.

Took a long time to even get waters. Food was decent but I expected more flavors. Restaurant is nice but fairly loud.

Hi Ed, Thank you for this. It sounds like your server may have been a little overwhelmed and that's on us. Thoughtful feedback like this helps us grow and learn. So I thank you immensely! As far as our food goes, we don't do traditional Mexican food which can be a bit shocking for people. We do more of a tex-mex/ Sonoran style of Mexican food. I'd love to send you and e-gift card and invite you back to make up for the experience you had and show you what Blanco can really do. First time there. Server was new and ordering was a challenge and they charged for food we did not order. Food was ok. Drinks were not worth the expensive price. Have had better less watered down, filled with ice and no flavor margaritas!!! Four people $235.00 very disappointed!! Drinks were ready but just sat there. Finally the hostess and bar tender delivered them to our table. Not sure worth the drive for the lack of service and flavorless watered down drinks.

Our server was amazing! Wish I could remember her name… she recognized that I may have been vegetarian, notified me that the rice was made with chicken stock, and had it removed from my plate. I really appreciated that! My only criticism is that we frequently arrive and we’re told there is a long wait, then we’re called to be sat in a much shorter time than quoted

Food rating is comparative. We had dined here before within the last month (also for lunch) and the food quality went from excellent to just OK.
