Despite the menu being marked with gluten free items they brought out one of those meals with a gluten containing topping. The they took approximately 20 minutes to remake it while the rest of the table had their meals. The other dishes were ok but not a ton of flavor.

Basic experience. Food was ok, but presentation was nothing to rave about. We sat at the bar instead of our reserved high top table, by choice. Service was fine accept there was the impression there was no tap beer which we thought was odd but later learned not to be the case. Chain restaurant vibe.

We were very pleased with our most recent dining experience at Blackwall Hitch. We made reservations in advance and were seated immediately. Our server was attentive and friendly. The food was delivered quickly and was prepared perfectly. We’ll definitely be back and would recommend this restaurant to friends and family.

Very casual atmosphere which was a lot down g or my birthday. Food was average in taste. I was disappointed in the Maryland crab soup and the riosotto was bland. The fried green tomato appetizer was tasty and so was the calamari.

Our party of 8 visited on a Saturday night as part of a bachelorette weekend. Unfortunately, it was a disaster from the start. Before I go further, I want to mention that I am a former server and always try to extend grace to those in the industry. The servers are YOUNG and clearly not very well trained before serving on their own. They had no idea how to answer any menu questions. We started with drinks and apps. The drinks took a while and were just ok. The apps were good but the calamari and shrimp were very small portions for the price. When ordering our entrees, we were not informed of specials (heard them told to another table after we ordered). Our party had a few minor requests upon ordering (nothing crazy). Four of us ordered the trident, 3 ordered the filet and one ordered the seafood risotto. The staff came out several times to explain they were out of certain vegetables and asked for substitutions, no big deal. But when the meals came out, most of the substitutions were incorrect and the minor requests made upon ordering were not honored. The food was all overcooked, mainly the steaks, salmon, scallops and shrimp. The risotto was not risotto but rather a few pieces of overcooked seafood on a bed of white rice. The crabcake and mashed potatoes were very good but that was the only highlight. Our bill was almost $585 and not a single person seemed concerned about the lacking service. Additionally, there were flies everywhere. I do realize this is a beach restaurant, but it’s not open air and the number of flies was annoying during what was supposed to be a higher end dinner. All in all, this place needs a LOT of improvements. I would not recommend or go back.

Have been here before. Food and service good. Burger was a bit over done (they did not ask and made it well done) but otherwise food and drinks were good! People were nice. My Shobb was excellent.
