    Went to brunch a 2nd time to give them another try because the first time the food was not good. I am a southern cook. Fried chicken should not be served with rubbery skin and cold with a lot of batter. It taste like it was cooked yesterday and they took it out of refrigerator and served it. I wasn’t going to try the omelettes again because of the first visit they were runny and had the consistency of a fajita. The shrimp and grits were the only tasty item last time but this time they forgot the seasoning. I will never come back. I will stick to what I know that will be a good meal. Columbia is too far to travel for a bad meal and they charge 18 % gratuity no matter how many people eat, 1 or 12. Disappointed again!!

    I am never disappointed with Sunday brunch. The options are perfect and I look forward to many more brunches.

    I had a wonderful birthday celebration at Blackwall with my honey. The atmosphere was large but yet what I would call homey elegance. We were greeted warmly and led to a special table with large comfy chairs. Our servers were friendly, helpful, and attentive. The food was amazing. Everything we ordered was fantastic, so much so I forgot to take pictures in my eagerness to eat. I still want to return to try other menu items. We will be back!
