The restaurant was empty at noon on a gorgeous Sunday. The maître D tried to put me at a table for two that was dark and in a corner I objected he then wanted to see me at a banquet that could’ve said eight people for just the two of us, I finally picked a table for four in the main dining room. A hamburger in a steakhouse should’ve been delicious. The meat did not taste fresh, the bacon seem to have been cooked the day before, and the french fries were cold. My guest had taken eggs and that was Unadorned. He asked for a non-alcoholic beer was told they had one and then the waitress came back and told us that they didn’t. He asked for a diet soda and there was no diet soda to be had so he settled for an iced tea. The service was terrible, we had to constantly look for our waitress to clear the table service birthday dessert and bring us the check. I would not recommend Blackstones to anyone as it has really gone downhill. I paid $100 for lunch for two and would’ve complained and sent my hamburger back, but I didn’t want to ruin the birthday Celebration with an argument over a $25 hamburger which was unappealing and the meat smelled old. Blackstones may have been good when it started, but it has gone downhill this last year. Several friends have also eaten here and said it is horrible. Sorry to say I would not have said anything, but you sent me a questionnaire, and as an honest person, I had to be honest.

All of the food was excellent. We arrived early for our reservation and were seated immediately. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

They steak were tasty but needed a little more seasoning. The mashed potatoes needed to be a little creamier. My Appletini was too sour. Otherwise, we enjoyed the experience.

The restaurant was lovely. The dinner special was crazy good, with even a discount for having a ticket to the local theater. Food was good. Lobster bisque, salmon and cheesecake. Plus a dish of olives an d bread. Very good service. Out the door at $53. I wish I lived closer to go back!

Mr. Diamonds was a fantastic server. Really attentive and great personality. My husband and I had a great time celebrating our anniversary thanks to him. Would visit again.

The filet mignon was a roast a cheaper cut. We had 3 different menus given to us during the same night as restaurant week menus and none were what was published. The mashed potatoes were boxed, the creamed spinach was disgusting. The wait staff was great and attentive. Dessert was boxed that we could have bought at Stop and Shop. Very disappointed. Went there a year ago, very different experience. This time, a Saturday night no one was there. Will never go back.

Booked a reservation as it was suggested. Not required. Host at is inside even tho my reservation was outside we also asked to sit outside and she took us inside. Waiters all seemed out to lunch. Took food off the table even when I asked for it to be left. Overall not a great experience. I wouldn’t waste your time and money. There are better places that have much better staff

We went for Stamford’s restaurant week on 8/23/24 and requested an outdoor table. While the ambiance stellar due to the street traffic; it was a nice cool evening so we really enjoyed being outside. The
