Had dinner on a Friday night, and was underwhelmed and confused. The ambience was renaissance faire meets steakhouse with jewel toned velvet, dark green walls, and gilded farm animal decor. The Hobbit, Edward Scissor Hands, and Sports Center were playing on the three TVs behind the bar. It was hard to hear due to the volume of the music. While I had a lovely “smoked” ginger bourbon cocktail and the food flights were an interesting concept, the food itself and the service left something to be desired. The water was warm, the bread was cold, and the food flights were of mixed quality. We did enjoy the ravioli, but our carpaccio was more of an arugula salad, and the calamari was overdone and greasy. I’d say, overall, not worth the pricey bill.

We ordered a few different dishes one of them being the land choice beef came out was supposed to be medium rare one choice was the other ones way overcooked the chicken piccata was very salty. Had to wait for the waitress to bring back plates and silverware, which took about seven minutes, doesn’t seem like a long time, but when your food there you want to eat. The entrées didn’t come out for almost 10 minutes after everything was served and it was cold. Level was fine, but music was extremely loud to the point that the server couldn’t hear us. We’ll try again.

Great food!! Many different flights ti m8x and match. It is an eclectic food experience. Highly recommend! Chef Brady is a master chef and superb grill master

Delicious! Wagyu melts in your mouth. Drink flights were yummy as well.

I found this small restaurant to feel chaotic, very loud, and not at all a relaxing spot for dinner. I think it’s best suited as a bar with its 3 large TV’s, loud music, etc whereas it’s trying to be a nice restaurant with table lamps and gold plated silver ware. Food was decent, overpriced for the value. Our reservation was bar seating, and behind the bar were piles of dirty glasses and containers, boxes of restock and more “stuff” which contributed to the chaotic vibe and look. Hope they can figure this out!

We will not be going back. Out of mashed potatoes. Nothing substituted. Only 3 of the desserts available. It’s Friday - the weekend and out of food? The menu is confusing and it adds up quickly to an overpriced lunch. Never going back.

Food and cocktails where excellent. Our waiter needs some coaching on how to be an excellent waiter as he took our order, someone else brought our food and drinks to us and then he never came back to us until after we finished our meal to clear our plates and give us our check. The music was so loud that we could not talk to each other while dining.

The place is too gimmicky! Cheap gold napkin rings and gold sillverware, the suitcase to show food with liquid nitrogen… The first four courses of restaurant week were served on a board all at once. The salad was warm, ravioli was like rubber, the beef ordered medium rare came out well done the first two times and not much better the third time. The baked stuffed scrod was excellent! That was the only thing that boosted the review. The wine chiller finally showed up when the bottle was almost empty. The undimmable lights were so bright, it felt like we were under a spotlight. So disappointing to have a new place in town that would need a complete overhaul to get us back.

Having been to the Coventry location, I knew what to expect with the extensive menu at the EG location as well! To start our waiter, Riley, explained everything including restaurant week specials. The app we began with was the French fry flight and it did not disappoint. I’m not a fan of poutine and gravy but my husband liked it. The all star of that dish was the truffle fries though! Absolute heaven and great portions too! For our entree, he ordered a “from the land” flight and did the cowboy ribeye, chicken piccata, and the wagyu. Each very rich foods on their own, but again the portion was just right and cooked to perfection! I did choose from the restaurant week menu, which was $41.99 for a “5 course flight”. This was literally my ideal meal! From the mini Caesar salad, to the cheesecake 🤤 to finish it off, it was delicious. I ordered the pink vodka pasta (which I could’ve licked the bowl clean!) the NY strip, and the scallops. The only thing that I COULD say if I was reaching for something would be the food is served on a wooden cutting board, so it cooled down pretty quickly. Other than that, I do think the “chest of meat” and the Tomahawk they show you is a bit much. I would rate this overall total experience a 9.1! Definitely worth it to check it out and so happy for new beginnings for these owners!
