Blacklock Shoreditch is set an old furniture factory in the heart of London’s East End. Expect the usual highest quality meat from Phillip Warren in Cornwall for unbeatable value and always lots of fun.

On Sundays it's our award winning Sunday Roasts, almost as good as Mum’s.

We are Dutch London lovers and visit the city every year. Blacklock is one of those places we often return to. We had a perfecr Sunday roast before in the Covent Garden location and this one was just as good. Food is really good, atmosphere graat, service is very friendly. We will surely return someday

Our waiter was phenomenal and food was even better! Thanks for a great first Sunday roast experience. We will be back!

Wonderful lunch! The service was outstanding. It was on par with a fine dining, in my opinion. I now understand why it's so difficult to get a reservation here as the roast lived up to it fame. We went. The waiting staff were not intrusive but were constantly topping up before even asking.I went with my son to celebrate him buying his first home. we were given a surprise glass of bubbly at the end of our meal, which was such a kind gesture. We will definitely be back.

Always soooo good. Get any steak, the chips, pig's head, and sweet potatoes.

Sadly the food did not live up to the hype. The staff tried hard to rectify it but having already sent my steak and chips back to the kitchen because neither was warm, I got fresh chips and my old steak put back in the pan. The sign of a good fillet steak is one where the knife cuts through the meat with ease and it melts in your mouth. The steak I had was very chewy and at times impossible to swallow and so some ended up politely and discreetly in my napkin at the end. Having already mentioned my food being cold I could not bring myself to continue to 'complain' and so I paid my bill and service and left. I will not be back in a hurry.

We had a delicious meal and Paris was so friendly and helpful which enhanced our wonderful experience.

Booked on OpenTable for my daughter wife's birthday, sent a message asking if the restaurant could do anything to recognise this. We turned up a bit late as I underestimated London traffic but the team were super accomodating. There was a glass of prosecco waiting on the table, the dinner was outstanding and a birthday dessert rounded a great evening off. I'm really grateful to the team at Blacklock and I need to emphasise that the steak was absolutely out of this world, beef dripping chips were beautiful and I couldn't have asked for more. Thanks to the whole team, will definitely visit again!!

Very nice food, we ordered the 700g prime rib which was cooked to perfection and tasted lovely. The beef short ribs were amazing, definitely a highlight, should’ve ordered more! The kale was a bit underwhelming but the chips and sauce was lovely. It seemed everyone was seated very close together and the table next to us was unfortunately obnoxiously loud but I think that was just a bit unfortunate for us. Lovely dinner and evening.

Exceptional from start to finish. Pigs Head on Toast was superb. Steak was cooked beautifully and seasoned to perfect. The chips are always good and the chop sauce was phenomenal. But as always with Blacklock, its the service that really stands out. Always super helpful and you never feel like you're being pushed or hurried. Recommend Blacklock to absolutely anyone who likes meat 😂

Really enjoyed our meal, fantastic juicy meats, great wine and I even squeezed in a lovely hot desert....highly recommend. Service was excellent...very tentative and helpful. Life is for living!!!
