We are positively giddy with excitement to announce that we'll be opening this Autumn in bustling Peter Street! Blacklock is a modern take of the Great British chophouse nestled in the corner of a Grade II listed textiles warehouse.

We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails from the trolley and wine on tap in our subterranean chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Roast almost as good as Mum's. We have limited spaces for Walk-ins, so we encourage booking in advance to avoid disappointment during busy times.

Lovely large dining space. Very attentive and knowledgeable staff. Really enjoyed the pre-chop bites. and the starters. Loved the chop sauce.. and meat was cooked very very well... if there was a negative, I'd say the deserts were pretty average... but it's not a deal breaker. I will be definitely will be back again, but maybe just have one course less,

A fantastic experience, and a great addition to Manchester's dining soon. Excellent food, expertly served, in a stunning environment. Every attention to detail taken care of. And that cheesecake...!

We had the most amazing time at Blacklock; the staff were fabulous, so attentive and kept up the vibes all night. We split the crayfish cocktail and mushrooms on toast and all I can say is wow. Both were insane. Random to be a vegetarian in a chop house, but I went for the mushroom and leek skewers; genuinely maybe one of the best meals I've ever had EVER! We had the sweet potato and kale salad as sides - the salad is not to be missed, and the potatoes were nice too. Cheesecake with fresh compote for dessert with a cherry coffee rum drink... Can't wait to go back !!!

We had a SkinViva team lunch at Blacklock - it was amazing! The food and the decor were both fantastic. All the staff were so friendly and they had great knowledge of the menu / food. We will definitely be back - as a company and individually!

Great staff from the moment we entered the building Staff had great knowledge of food and food source’s Perfect ambiance,cosy but not stifling Food was perfect although one of our number was not keen on the chop bites Rump cap steak was outstanding .

My partner and I came to Blacklock and had an amazing time. Food was to die for and the cheesecake is the best I’ve ever had. The coffee dessert cocktail was 10/10 Could not credit the staff and kitchen high enough.

Lovely lunch experience. Staff catered for those of us on lunch breaks with limited time. Staff were very friendly and gave over advice and recommendations for us to try. Lovely atmosphere, not too quiet, not too noisy. Food came out quickly and was cooked really well! Really enjoyed our lunch! Thank you!

Loved the experience at Blacklock. Staff members were very friendly from Reception to those who brought the food. It didn’t feel rushed and food came at a good pace. Cocktails were amazing too- they didn’t feel watery at all! They were packed with flavour. Ellie was really nice and attentive, Julie-Ann and Tam were the sweetest and Dale is simply great. Nothing was too much for any of them. Can’t wait to try the Sunday roast.

Outstanding. Some of the best meat dishes we've ever tasted in stunning surroundings and with the best service. Props to our server Abdul who was faultless and went above and beyond. Highly recommend.
