What an amazing spot! My husband and I decided to dine here for our minimoon and Blacklock did not disappoint! After learning of our celebration they really tailored our experience, and the service throughout was brilliant. Not to mention the delicious food, cooked exactly as requested, and a delight to the senses to eat. Considering coming back for another steak for breakfast! Thanks Blacklock!!

Our server, Danny, explained the choices clearly, advised us appropriately and looked after us throughout. The delicious spiced Manhattan put me in the right mood from the start. We went for the sharing prime rib with chips and Kale which we thoroughly enjoyed. By mistake, sadly, we left behind the bag containing the half of the cheesecake which we were too full to eat. We will have to return to order it again. A lovely meal in warm and friendly surroundings with an excellent atmosphere due to the fun background music. We coped with the long flight of stairs down, and then back up again and hope that the lift is repaired soon.

Not at all impressed. Although the quality and price of the meat was good, a side dish of raw kale was not. A litre of Primitivo on tap, not bottled, for little less than £50 beggars belief (even more so when subject to a service charge of 12.5%). As it was the occasion of my daughter's 25th birthday, it was a thoroughly disappointing experience and not one to be repeated.

Great drink at the bar. Seated fairly quickly. Restaurant was busy even for early evening. Our waiter went above and beyond with food intolerances. Really looked after us. Food was excellent. Great value for the sharing platter of skinny chops. Really nice meal.

This is our go to favourite place for the best quality chops and steaks. Today’s visit was made even more special thanks to Louis our waiter who snuck my husband a quick taster of our he white chocolate cheesecake (his favourite dessert) as we had no time for pudding on this occasion. It’s touches like that that make us come back over and over again.

Excellent evening with great food and drinks! The steak quality is exceptional and we loved the sides. Really good service and the cocktails were on point.

Our experience was great with the staff being both very attentive and the food being exactly what we expect of Blacklock and why we come back. It was a special occasion for us and the staff did everything they could to make it feel exactly that. Look forward to coming back soon!

This was a very disappointing experience for my Dad’s birthday. Food: we had the ‘all in’ meal - the starter bites were completely inedible, but the food was redeemed by the chops, which were delicious. We were looking forward to the crumble which was advertised on the board, but when we came to order we were told the menu had changed the day before. Service: it was almost impossible to get staff attention, the food was slapped down on the table in a rush and our table was in a main path for the staff - a couple of whom got visibly annoyed when they couldn’t immediately get through because we were trying to take our coats off to sit down (no coat room offered). Very sad as it was my Father’s birthday and this pu a dampener on the evening.
