Blacklock is a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in an old electricity substation on the site of London"s oldest meat market. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our real charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails that give back and wine on tap in our atmospheric subterranean chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Roast almost as good as Mum's.

We have limited spaces for Walk-ins, so we encourage booking in advance to avoid disappointment during busy times.

Wonderful expérience! The staff is amazing, espacially Vivian from Toronto. I ate the lamb rump and the sweet patato. Delicious! Best lamb i ever ate. If i come back to London, i will go again 100%.

Disappointing. Came here a year ago and it was excellent - one of the best roasts in London. Took 6 months to get a Sunday roast reservation that worked out for everyone I was inviting and expected the same. But no, scaling up has taking its toll. Food was sub par (think undercooked pork, straggly sinewy beef, fatty lamb). And service was chaotic. Having unlimited gravy is great - but not if it takes 20 minutes to get it after you’ve asked for it, and by the time it arrives everything is cold. Shame. But best avoid

We had a fabulous meal here last night. We were running late and I called to let them know and they kindly held the table. Our server was really good, and looked after us so well. The food was great, we were a party ranging in age from 13-79 and we all loved what we had. We would definitely come again - thank you

Great food! We ordered the all-in which was a good portion and price for two people. Well cooked and good side salad and potatoes of your choice too! Service was very polite and friendly. Would definitely go again.
