Blacklock is a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in an old electricity substation on the site of London"s oldest meat market. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our real charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails that give back and wine on tap in our atmospheric subterranean chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Roast almost as good as Mum's.

We have limited spaces for Walk-ins, so we encourage booking in advance to avoid disappointment during busy times.

Great from start to finish. Great starter, had pigs head on toast and crayfish cocktail. Super main, we had the roast sharer plate between 2 and there was plenty, we cleared the plate!! Also ordered cauliflower cheese, probably didn’t need it but we love it 😊. We shared the cheesecake for pudding and was surprised when it came out with a candle as it was my birthday, nice touch and even better when they said it was on them. Really great afternoon, left feeling extremely content and will be back for sure!

Have eaten at Blacklock restaurants many times, always the best Sunday roast you can get. Highly recommended if you’re in London, check them out and book early!

Lovely atmosphere, great food unfortunately the table wasn’t as nice as we hoped for as we reserved for a special occasion. But overall recommend!

This place is an absolute gem! Great for a date or a quick but absolutely amazing dinner with friends. Staff was so sweet, gave us a good laugh and made us feel so welcome. Please keep it up, because I WILL be coming back to this place.

Was greeted once I came down the stairs. A staff member stopped what he was doing to meet me and check me in, which was great. I got a great table with a good view of everything. The staff are amazing and look happy. Drinks came quickly, and food took a while, but I'm not complaining. Order the lamb and felt it was a bit small, but me and my partner and I enjoyed it. We will be back for the prime steak next time.

I have visited many steal restaurants around the uk. This steak restaurant is miles better than any other I have visited. The rib eye is phenomenal, The chips are phenomenal the best I have ever had anywhere on the 3 occasions I’ve been. The chop sauce, Phenomenal. Downside, Always busy and crowded. Would like more table room and a bit Quieter. The service excellent, better choice of starters would be better. I’ve left the umbrella there today 🤦🏻. Always a banger here, can’t wait to return. Would love to try a porterhouse.

We sat at one of the 4 seater booths, the table is quite small and felt a bit cramped for 3 average sized guys, if there was a 4th there would have been no room on the table. We shared the 1.1Kg porterhouse cooked medium rare. it was perfectly done and a good piece of meat. The sides included Kale, Chips, Sweet potatoe & leafy greens. the chips are amazing. sauces with the steak we chose gravy & bone marrow both are delicious. Overall a great restaurant, good ambience and very good food.
