Blacklock is a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in an old electricity substation on the site of London"s oldest meat market. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our real charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails that give back and wine on tap in our atmospheric subterranean chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Roast almost as good as Mum's.

We have limited spaces for Walk-ins, so we encourage booking in advance to avoid disappointment during busy times.

Been here a few times and never been disappointed. The steaks are incredible, had the walnut and broccoli salad and fries which were delicious. I chose the ribeye medium and it came a little rare, and so i asked for that to be cooked a little longer. The service is incredible here, as they took it away and brought us back extra fries and extra walnut and broccoli salad and brought me back the perfect steak without charging for any of these items. Gob-smacked (in a good way!). Lovely staff, can't do enough to help you. I did not expect them to take this all off the bill and honestly it's absolutely incredible customer-focused service we will 100% be back. Thank you for a delicious lunch and excellent service. Your staff are simply lovely.

Simply the best steak and sauces - ever!! And if that’s not enough to satisfy your taste buds then the cheesecake is just out of this world!! The staff are so friendly and the atmosphere is buzzing. If you haven’t been then you are missing out!

Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. Staff was very friendly. Little noisy but otherwise perfect!

Great from start to finish. Great starter, had pigs head on toast and crayfish cocktail. Super main, we had the roast sharer plate between 2 and there was plenty, we cleared the plate!! Also ordered cauliflower cheese, probably didn’t need it but we love it 😊. We shared the cheesecake for pudding and was surprised when it came out with a candle as it was my birthday, nice touch and even better when they said it was on them. Really great afternoon, left feeling extremely content and will be back for sure!

Have eaten at Blacklock restaurants many times, always the best Sunday roast you can get. Highly recommended if you’re in London, check them out and book early!

Lovely atmosphere, great food unfortunately the table wasn’t as nice as we hoped for as we reserved for a special occasion. But overall recommend!

This place is an absolute gem! Great for a date or a quick but absolutely amazing dinner with friends. Staff was so sweet, gave us a good laugh and made us feel so welcome. Please keep it up, because I WILL be coming back to this place.
