Blacklock is a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in an old electricity substation on the site of London"s oldest meat market. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our real charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails that give back and wine on tap in our atmospheric subterranean chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Roast almost as good as Mum's.

We have limited spaces for Walk-ins, so we encourage booking in advance to avoid disappointment during busy times.

Sunday roast was a little disappointing. The potatoes were undercooked / not crispy and Yorkshire pudding dry and overcooked. The meats were the highlight but the trimmings really lowered the overall roast experience.

Amazing experience for Sunday Lunch, roast dinner was outstanding, my 10 year old said it was the best roast shes ever had. The service is outstanding by both the staff that served us. Fantastic experience we will be back again soon. Amazing

A bit pricy but good quality. We ordered Porterhouse 900g for 3 girls with 3-4 sides and it’s enough for us. Love the beef marrow and chips. Highly recommended if you are craving for steaks.

Me and my family were visiting near the area and I happened to find this restaurant on google maps, the menu looked good and the reviews seemed good so I booked a table and headed there the next day. When we arrived, we were immediately seated handed out the menu. There was a good selection of food items, so we ordered the Blacklock Burger, Beef Dripping Chips, and the Rib-eye steak. Needless to say, the food was excellent. It was the best steak and chips I've had ever. and the blackrock burger was fantastic, definitely would recommend all three to anybody visisting. The most surprising part was the prices were very reasonable. Especially considering the outstanding food. I would definitely recommend anybody visiting the area to book a table ahead of time and have lunch or dinner at the Blacklock

Portions are very small. The menu is quite limited, especially starters. Ordered their off the menu Sirloin which was only 200g; this is a child's portion. Ordered gravy and didn't get it. The venue is very noisy with no sound dampening making it difficult to have a conversation. The quality of the food we received was high and I couldn't fault it - they just need to work on portion size.

Enjoyed a nice stack of chops and sides, with a lovely primitivo! Finishing with an obligatory slab of cheeseback. Excellent service to boot.
