Blacklock is a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in an old electricity substation on the site of London"s oldest meat market. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our real charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails that give back and wine on tap in our atmospheric subterranean chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Roast almost as good as Mum's.

We have limited spaces for Walk-ins, so we encourage booking in advance to avoid disappointment during busy times.

                                                                        We had a fabulous meal here last night. We were running late and I called to let them know and they kindly held the table. Our server was really good, and looked after us so well. The food was great, we were a party ranging in age from 13-79 and we all loved what we had. We would definitely come again - thank you

                                                                        Great food! We ordered the all-in which was a good portion and price for two people. Well cooked and good side salad and potatoes of your choice too! Service was very polite and friendly. Would definitely go again.

                                                                        Food superb and reasonably priced, customer service excellent and made the whole night even more enjoyable, wish I could remember the gentlemans name who was so attentive without being annoying and just great at suggestions and throwing in some sauces to try on the house as we were undecided - will def be going back!

We opted for “all in” roast but there was very little meat and what we did have all tasted the same, the crackling was fantastic but we again only each had one piece, again this was tiny, nothing like what we have seen advertised. The cheesecake was good

                                                                        Outstanding Sunday roast. We had the all in for 4 and it was a gut buster. Can’t wait to try their midweek menu. Highly recommended. Only complaint, wish we had more of the delicious pork crackling.
