We’ve long loved Canary Wharf and it's rich history of the nearby Docklands and Billingsgate Market, yet Blacklock in a glass tower never quite fit. One look at an old disused warehouse nestled cosily in the corner of Canary Wharf underneath the train tracks of the North Dock and we knew we had found home. Feel the comforting rumble of trains passing overhead conjuring memories of some of our favourite haunts underneath the bridges in NYC - a place where, with the blinds rolled down and away from prying eyes, a decadent lunch can swiftly roll into dinner.

    Food was amazing, took my partner for her birthday and she loved it. Staff were very attentive and generous. The white chocolate cheese cake is a must.

    This was the second time eating at Blacklock and I wasn’t disappointed. We came as a family to celebrate my brother’s birthday and we were treated so well. There was so much thought put into the evening, from a celebration banner hanging over the booth too a lovely birthday song and dessert presentation. As would be expected, food was delicious - flavourful and cooked brilliantly. I would highly recommend and look forward to being able to go back!

    Amazing as usual, staff very knowledgeable, can’t fault this place in anyway. There no better roast dinner anywhere.

    Went there on a Sunday for a proper Sunday Roast and I got it in spades. Great, tender lamb and beef, good crackling for the roast pork (too bad it was a tiny piece). Pig’s head on toast was phenomenal too, great mix of fat and meat. Some of the best gravy I had too (it’s on the slightly saltier end). Finished off the meal with a superb cheesecake 💯

    Booked while in advance as we tried several times with no reservation. I understand why people are going and make the restaurant fully booked. Great costumer service, very eficiente and polite staff. Food comes very well presented and good value comparing to others in the market. I will be back soon, if there is a table ;)

    Fabulous lunch today, food was delicious and plentiful. We came for my partners birthday and they really made her special, the sorbet with the candle and happy birthday message in chocolate went down a treat, I don't remember any names but all staff were really helpful and accommodating
