We’ve long loved Canary Wharf and it's rich history of the nearby Docklands and Billingsgate Market, yet Blacklock in a glass tower never quite fit. One look at an old disused warehouse nestled cosily in the corner of Canary Wharf underneath the train tracks of the North Dock and we knew we had found home. Feel the comforting rumble of trains passing overhead conjuring memories of some of our favourite haunts underneath the bridges in NYC - a place where, with the blinds rolled down and away from prying eyes, a decadent lunch can swiftly roll into dinner.

    Food was very good. A great variety and our waiter Lewis was very good and informative. We will definitely be returning.

    Awesome night and awesome food. The music hit hard with all the '80's classics. Anywhere that provides Phil Collins and meat is a winner for me and this place provided both.

    Customer service always amazing every time I come here. The food is always great too. We said it was our anniversary and they surprised us with a free dessert for our anniversary in the end, very thoughtful of them! We were so pleasantly surprised

    Our waiter Marcel was fantastic. He heard that we didn't like one of the dishes, and offered to take it off the bill! We didn't ask as we wanted to experiment with no strings attached; what a lovely gesture from him. The rest of the food was impeccable as always, and the atmosphere is romantic and cheerful. For reference, our favourite steak on the menu happens to be the cheapest one! - Denver steak - Beef dripping chips - Chop sauce - Chilli hollandaise (for dipping the chips) - White chocolate and wild berry cheesecake - Sweet potato (not so good) Would absolutely recommend coming here, as the price is fair and the service is awesome! 😎

    We had an amazing time, the food was delicious, the service was brilliant and the overall ambiance of the place was great. I would definitely go here again.

    Portions should be bigger (chips AND steaks). Enjoyed wine by the 700ml carafe. Seems to me dessert was an afterthought? Overall the service was spot on & happy to leave a tip.
