We’ve long loved Canary Wharf and it's rich history of the nearby Docklands and Billingsgate Market, yet Blacklock in a glass tower never quite fit. One look at an old disused warehouse nestled cosily in the corner of Canary Wharf underneath the train tracks of the North Dock and we knew we had found home. Feel the comforting rumble of trains passing overhead conjuring memories of some of our favourite haunts underneath the bridges in NYC - a place where, with the blinds rolled down and away from prying eyes, a decadent lunch can swiftly roll into dinner.

Went for dinner sat night. Service and all fine but food is expensive for size of portions with no accompaniments. Drinks were also good but reduced portions.

Exceptional steak, chops, bone marrow, grilled baby gem and ALL the sauces! I excellent service and really nice drinks!

Meat was a bit fatty this time and we was not told as all times before about what’s was shared and not on our shared platter. It’s the simple things but if you’re paying good money for it then consistency is key. This time it was not. We have been many times, but the one who brought the sharing platter basically said here it is.

We had fantastic service from our server Shane. Was very attentive, explained everything as it was our first time, made recommendations that paid off. Was a great experience and the food was amazing too. Thank you Shane!

Service was excellent, food presentation and quality were high, the space was nice and the ambiance was perfect to have a chat with people at your table, service was all the time checking your comfort. the only negative thing was a misunderstood about the bill, probably because they were busy, the manager sort out quickly and politely but the reaction of the waiter attending our table got it the wrong way and changed the perfect mood to take distance and leave the problem with other... that break all the good opinion we had about her service. need to say just we wanted to clarify the situation, anyway, the balance was positive and we gonna repeat it.
