Really great meal. Portions are quite large so be sure to be hungry when you go! It's BYO, so if you can want something alcoholic be prepared to pay for a corkage fee. I think this applies to any beverage you bring with you. Though, they have really go lemonade in house as well!

I had a great time at the Black hen. The service was excellent. Staff was very friendly courteous. The food was delicious. The prices were good overall 10 out of 10 highly recommended I had the smoked wings, macaroni and cheese and green beans. Everything was top notch Definitely a must try

Really nice experience. The chicken tenders were very nicely seasoned with flaky coating. At his was the juiciest fried chicken I’ve ever had. Everything we had was very flavorful ( (chicken tenders, wings, green beans, sweet potatoes). The chicken check beignets were delicious! Service was awesome. I liked the varied sauces they offer to accompany your chicken. It’s a nice cozy spot. I’d definitely return.

It was my first visit to Black Hen, and I was glad I came. I had wings, collard greens, and cornbread. Everything was fresh and hot. I enjoyed it. The server was polite and professional.
