I only came for the Mac & cheese, and was not impressed. Online it looked great but it tasted so tangy and drowned in too much cheddar cheese! 2/10 on the mac & cheese.

I've been waiting to check out this restaurant! My Friend loved his food! Although I really enjoyed it, I felt the chicken could have been fried a little harder but it was hot and flavorful! While the buffalo chicken dip was hot and flavorful also, it was a little too runny for me. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and will return to try other menu items! Shay, our waitress, was Anazing!!

Small restaurant with beautiful ambiance. Food was AMAZING! Chicken was crunchy and flavorful. The cheesesteak beignets were delicious. All the sides were amazing. The price was great as well. I highly recommend.

I highly recommend Blackhen! From the apps to main course to dessert and customer services, BlackHen did not disappoint. The food was hot, fresh and oh so delicious. Get here!

I should have waited about a year before going to this restaurant. To me it’s still too new. I walked in expecting the food level, portions, & vibe to be the same of the sister restaurant Amina & I was sadly disappointed. The service staff were very nice and accommodating, but the restaurant has no vibe, no ambiance. They did have a good playlist though. The portions were extremely small & under seasoned. I went there for a birthday dinner & while we had fun celebrating the birthday girl, none of us would return back there on our own.

The food was HORRIBLE, the service was HORRIBLE‼️ There are 7 tables in there and I waited 10 minutes for my check. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The food was delicious! The service wasn’t that great. I guess it’s because of an automatic 20% gratuity that’s added regardless of the party size. We were seated at the reservation time, which was nice. Overall, it was okay, besides the added fees for bringing your own bottle.

The food was absolutely delectable ; prepared very well. We didn’t wait long for any of our dishes. I love the twist on the chicken and waffles . The charcoal waffle was different yet tasty. I loved the small pieces of fried chicken skin on the deviled eggs; it was the right amount. The cheesesteak beignets were incredible. The fried green tomatoes were crispy and very flavorful. The ambiance is outstanding and the temperature perfect. Our server was very attentive and friendly. I’m looking forward to dining here again.

Absolutely a vibe! I took my high school grad and his friends to celebrate and our experience was great. Food was hot & flavorful. Our waitress was attentive and friendly, I didn’t get her name but the gratuity was added in the bill but I tipped her extra when I paid our bill. Definitely worth checking out. #supportblackowned #womanowned
