Service seems to be very slow every time we go. My husband doesn’t want to go back even though the food is great.

This small restaurant offers a tasting menu priced at $95 per person. The intimate setting, however, comes with its drawbacks, as the tables are packed closely together, making for a rather cramped dining experience. We opted for the tasting menu, and while our cocktails were tasty the food itself left much to be desired. some food were so unappealing that I found myself unable to finish them, despite the small portion sizes. For a total bill of around $400 for two people, the experience fell short of expectations. Unfortunately, it didn't feel worth the price, leaving me with little desire to return.

Ordered scallops, zucchini crespelle, Black Sea bass, and torchietti with lobster. Everything was delicious. Try the oak trees if you like a smooth, slightly spicy drink. Great, attentive server named Alli took good care of us!

Have been coming here with my boyfriend for a few years. The food, the cocktails, and the service are all outstanding. One of our favorites always!

Difficult to hear when seated between tables (as most tables are!) acoustics are not great. Appetizers was surprisingly delicious, our entrees good, except a hamburger ordered medium rare was served well done. French fries were delicious. Service was attentive, although server never asked if we wanted to see the dessert menu before promptly depositing the bill on our table. Out within just under an hour of arrival when ordering drinks and appetizers is a bit of a rush for us.

I have been enjoying Blackbird for years and was there again last night. We felt completely rushed, while still eating our server asked if we wanted our food wrapped. We were clearly still eating and enjoying (delicious) cocktails. While we realize the restaurant is small, the price of the food is hardly cheap….if would be nice to be able to enjoy it (and trust me, we are not the type who overstay our welcome). Big disappointment, Blackbird. Please get it together, we do love the food.

Always a positive experience at Blackbird. Food is consistently good as is the service. A great menu that they rotate or change up each season.
