The Black Swan Inn is a newly refurbished gastro pub situated above the bustling fishing port of Seahouses and drawing from a wealth of locally sourced ingredients. The Black Swan promises a unique and memorable dining experience. When booking, we need to make you aware that dogs are not permitted in our Restaurant area. However, your dog is more than welcome in our Orangery from 11.30am to 3pm daily and in our bar and courtyard area at any time, tables of which are non-reservable and are offered on a first come, first serve basis.

This restaurant/bar is outstanding and one of the best in Northumberland for it's food, service and hospitality. This has to be a 5 star recommendation and well worth a visit to sample the whole ambiance and quality of food. Tip Top

A very enjoyable evening. Excellent food quality and a good menu. Love the atmosphere and good service not rushed. Cocktails were excellent and a different presentation. Our Pinot Noir was a bit disappointing for £55 but otherwise a very good experience.

Food was excellent. However from placing our order to food appearing on the table was over 50 minutes. Appreciate it may have been freshly prepared but I don't think we've ever waited that long for food to arrive.

This hidden gem is fantastic for variety of seafood dishes, excellent service and lovely atmosphere. The service is attentive without being invasive and very relaxed. I would highly recommend this place

As ever the bar and bar staff were fantastic. We booked a 2.30pm table for Sunday lunch and were extremely disappointed to be told that the beef roast had run out. We were offered a chicken supreme alternative which was a strange option to go with Yorkshire pudding etc. However, we did have fish and chips that were very nice. I guess we were just disappointed with the lack of Sunday lunch.

Really glad we happened upon the Black Swan. It was a special treat for our last day in Seahouses. The food was amazing and presented beautifully and the decor of the restaurant has a rustic yet cosy feel. Special thanks to our waiter who was very attentive and a pleasure to talk to. Would highly recommended.

We had a lovely evening at the Black Swan Exciting cocktails & The Seafood platter. We weren’t disappointed the cocktail was on fire literally & the platter was amazing. There was so much fish we didn’t do it justice. The staff were lovely. Would highly recommend & would certainly go back. Thank you.

Absolutely the best pub we’ve been to for a long time. Great food, great drinks (especially cocktails), great service and a really lovely experience.
