Black rock restaurant is an easygoing dining restaurant situated across the street from the beach front in Clacton on sea. We focus on a trendy steak and grill menu.

Our menu is inspired from different countries but our speciality here at Black rock is the ‘STEAK ON THE STONE’ the concept is from the island of Madeira amongst other places. The restaurant is guest orientated and the service is relaxed, very friendly; nothing is too much and always willing to assist you in any means way.

Black rock is a great place to eat, excellent atmosphere, great tasting food and we take pride in delivering exceptional service using the highest quality of local ingredients the best cuts of steaks and a great selection of exciting cocktails.

                          Fantastic food, nice atmosphere and great service, highly recommend for a quiet evening meal especially if you like steak, steaks are very very good.

                          Lovely dinner Amazing steak 🥩 cook over a hot stone Well done Holly our waitress My friend caught her breath and choked Holly was amazing checked on my friend brought her water and then came back asking if all was ok We had a lovely evening nice wine a lovely food 👌

                          Good service, quirky and staff were plesent. The venue was clean and well organised, although we had to wait some time after our meals were delivered for our garlic bread side . Down side , they don't offer NHS discount. Overall, would go again.

                          They were short staffed so was waiting ages to be served. Was very noisey this time and the food didn’t come out the same as it did last time I went.

                          Hi Kelsey, Thank you for your feedback and I regret that you feel we fell a little short for you this time round. As we are an independent restaurant, our highly-skilled chefs do not follow spec sheets on presentation unlike chain venues, so we do allow our chefs to showcase their own creativity in preparing our dishes. Therefore, it is unlikely that the dishes will be identically-presented with every visit. We thank you for dining with us. - Management
