Located across from Printers Alley, just two blocks from Broadway, Black Rabbit is a Restaurant & Bar with full service dinner (4PM Mon-Sat), Saturday Brunch (10AM - 2PM), the Best Happy Hour in Nashville 2022 (4-6 PM Mon-Sat; $6 Old Fashioneds, Margs, and Mules) and Live Music (9PM Fri-Sat) . The creative cocktails and large bourbon collection flow generously from the bar while steaks, chops, seafood, & local vegetables emanate from the wood-fire, open kitchen. Originally home to a furniture showroom 134 years ago and subsequently, the law office of Tommy Osborn, attorney to Jimmy Hoffa, Black Rabbit is writing their own chapter by reimagining what a local Nashville tavern and speakeasy would've been like during Prohibition... wood-fire cooking, strong cocktails, and a sophisticated atmosphere with genuine, relaxed hospitality. Locally owned and operated, we aim to show you our idea of home team hospitality when you visit Downtown Nashville.

Cool vibe with superior service and great music. Innovative menu. The porkchop was perfectly cooked and very flavorful. The trout was moist with a flakey silken texture beautifully complimented with the best hoppinJohn we’ve ever tasted. Excellent cocktail selection accompanied by an extensive bourbon list. Music starts at 9 pm. Our party arrived at 8. Our reservation requested a table with a view of the band. We had the best seats in the house. Owner Tommy is a gracious host.

Service and overall experience was terrible. Waiter was trying to rush us out from the minute we sat down and telling us how there was another reservation 1 1/2hrs after us and that we needed to go ahead and order so that they could get us out and seat the next table. We decided to finish our next round of drinks and leave because of how rude the waiter was. I have never had this bad of service at any restaurant before. I've had waiters that were just bad at their job before but never a waiter as rude as the one we had at Black Rabbit.

Extremely disappointed...Very limited menu options. Overpriced. Waitress did not provide accurate information about entree' items. 2 attempts at a $59 entree' and couldn't cook item to correct temperature. However, we were not charged for the $59 entree' and we were given a free dessert for the issue. It was VERY disappointing b/c we were celebrating a birthday and the birthday person did not get an entree' item.

Seated at the chef table, not our first time at the gem of a restaurant. The service spot on, the food more than memorable and live music to make the evening special. Don’t leave here without savoring the Rabbit Roll!

This was one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been too!! My boyfriend and I were so impressed with everything from the customer service, to the quality of food and everything in between. I also had the pistachio espresso martini and it was 100/10. Best one I’ve ever had!!! I recommend this place to anyone and everyone 😍

I took my husband for his birthday as a surprise. We had visited the BR when they first opened and he frequently commented he wanted to try them again. It was a big hit. We had the rabbit & pork sliders as our appetizer. So yummy! He had the elk and I had the trout as our entrées and the quality was excellent. My husband is an excellent chef and as such has a very discerning palette. He loves the Black Rabbit. Also, the piped in music being played was great for all ages. The crowd really seemed to enjoy it. We jumped up and did a quick dance during dinner. Great fun, great food!
