We LOVE Black Pearl. We have never been disappointed before, and must have visited more than 20 times. We will be back. BUT last night was disappointing. Favorites like the Beet Salad were not done as well as usual (the whipped goat cheese was not whipped, just crumbled cheese, there was no pistachio gremolata, hardly any candied pecans - maybe it sounds picky but these are what makes the salad special and delicious). The removal of the snapper from the menu - replacing it with swordfish, which is one of the highest mercury fish around - was disappointing. The drink ordered by one of us - a tequila cosmo - was served but it was a regular cosmo. Just one of these would have been not a big deal, but all three - and there were other minor glitches, like no silverware and having to ask for it twice over, etc) - really disappointed. Like I say, we will be back! This has been a great restaurant for a very long time, and we are hoping this was just a single bad night.

We had an amazing time. First time at black pearl and the 6th of us had an amazing time. We had oysters, coconut shrimp and salmon cakes to start. All were delicious. Entrees we had the hanger steak, surf and turf, and scallops. Everything was wonderful. Our server isaac was top notch. He made the birthday (two birthday's) a great night to remember.

It was so average! There were 4 of us. Two people in the party thought dinner was terrible. The other two thought it was meh. Will not be back.

We had multi generations with us for dinner and the menu appealed to everyone. The fish tacos were especially incredible. Nest time I would love to go back with my husband and sit at the bar

Excellent service on a very busy game day weekend. We had the Brussels and ceviche for starters. Swordfish entree was excellent.
