We have an extensive martini, beer and wine menu - a little something for everyone. Our guests range from executives to students and everyone in between. We offer food and drink specials daily and weekly. Whether you are looking for dinner or drinks and apps after a University of Michigan athletic event, we here at the Black Pearl Ann Arbor welcome the opportunity to show our guests a wonderful evening.     Really enjoyed the food, I had the snapper and my husband had the scallops and they were both yummy! We will definitely be back!

    The tables inside are bar size and not suitable for a dinner. Also, the interior is dimly lit and the dinner plates are black. I had difficulty seeing my food. Altogether it was fine, not great. Eating outside seemed to be the more popular option.

    The Black Peral is one of our favorite downtown Ann Arbor restaurants. The martinis are always excellent, as is the food. Our waitress, Sydney, was incredible!

    The summer salmon was not only a visual delight, it was a riot of flavor. Our table also ordered the swordfish and scollops. All were excellent. Our server was attentive and knew the menu well as all his suggestions were spot on.

    While we have enjoyed the meals at the Black Pearl in previous years, we were quite disappointed with our food this week. The service and ambiance were good, but the food was not, particularly the coconut shrimp and crab cakes. However the beet salad was very tasty. We were also disappointed with the menu that provided fewer options than in the past. We will not return any time soon.

    Outstanding in every respect. Great service, excellent food from the coconut shrimp to the scallops to the swordfish and salmon. Topped it off with the indescribably good mango key lime bar. A meal to remember!
