Black Mocha is a modern independently run cafe by locals Heather and Paul Smith in the bustling bohemian North Laine area of Brighton offering locally roasted single origin coffee, brunch, sandwiches and snacks, gluten free bakes and vegan raw cakes.
We would like to welcome you back from the 17th of May with an increased offer now including our delicious brunch menu. As per government guidelines, for your safety and comfort please see implemented measures below;

Hand sanitiser, 1 metre distancing, table service, card payments only, regular clean sanitised surfaces with increased cleaning schedules and practices.

Terms:
Please cancel your reservation if you or any member of you group have a temperature or bad cough or sneezing.
Table reservations will be limited to 1.5 hours for guests dining from our brunch menu and to 45 minutes for guests ordering drinks and snacks available from our counter.

Absolutely Love this local cafe, the selection of Hot chocolates are Divine as is the Brunch... I went for the Eggs Royale on my last visit, which were cooked to perfection! lovely Ambience and really friendly staff. I would highly recommend Black Mocha, and I look forward to returning!

Visited Black Mocha for brunch. Had great food and coffee served by friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely be visiting again next time we're in Brighton.

Amazing food, great gluten free options and the staff were SO friendly! We also loved the chilli jam so much we brought some for Christmas Day!

Great choice of food and the coffee is amazing. My partner is coeliac and there were plenty of gluten free options for him.

Black mocha served delicious, well priced food in the heart of Brighton. Good atmosphere and staff adhered really well to covid restrictions. Will definitely be back!
