They ran out of food. No salmon. No burgers. We had to leave because they did not have hardly anything on the menu.

We had an amazing time. Loved the music but wish it had been a little bit quieter so we didn’t have to strain to hear the conversations.

This restaurant was a joke. We had 6:00 reservations and were told they had to seat others and had no tables for us. Said it would be at least and hour for a table. We left without eating. The restaurant offered no other option.

Our first time at Black Jockey’s Lounge was a great success. We sat at the bar and ordered an appetizer and drinks. The fried green tomatoes were excellent. For dinner, my husband ordered the black bean burger and said it was one of the best he had ever had. I wanted to try the Caprese Wedge Salad, but they were apparently out of iceberg lettuce. I had the Salmon with curry rice and sautéed spinach and loved it. Our bartender/waitress was friendly even though she was extremely busy. We will go back.

We enjoyed our dinner very much. Good variety on the menu, Neat place very near the Louisville Palace.

It seemed very short staffed. Bartender took at least 20 minutes for two cocktails. Server tried to make it better but had way too many tables. Unlikely to go back.

I order the Calamari it was more crust then bite, I let them know and all I got was I'm sorry. I don't mind spending my money for good food. I couldn't eat that crust I will not be going back, I spent 69.00 on crappie food

The restaurant smelled of mold when we were seated at back area. I would have left then however we had a group of 12, everyone was hungry, & finding a table at 7pm would have meant a long wait elsewhere. Maybe that would have been better since the waiter service was extremely slow & disorganized. Despite no other diners in the restaurant besides our group, not one of the 3 other waitresses assisted our waiter. About 25 mins after we placed our orders the waiter informed 3 people in our group they were out of the entrees. The food was delivered piecemeal with some of us almost finished with our food while others were still waiting and one of the ones waiting had only ordered a salad. Drinks were good however one of us ordered 2 glasses of wine that were in the $10 section. When the bill came she was charged $18 a glass. The waiter said it was a typo and should not have been in the $10 section. We had to call the manager for a credit and she agreed to correct the bill. The waiter arbitrarily changed the price and expected us to pay up charge price. The restaurant needs to make corrections on their menu or alert diners of price differences ahead of time. I suspect they thought we would just pay it but we reviewed the menu to confirm the prices. We read the menu & reviews ahead of time and thought this would be a great place to dine. Unfortunately because of the mold smell, slow service, marginal food quality, and up charging on posted prices in the menu, We would not recommend this restaurant.
