    Must have a new chef. The food was not good. I have been here several times and the food was amazing. Something has definitely changed.

    We enjoyed a great meal before an event in downtown Louisville. We thoroughly enjoyed: Fried Green Tomatoes, wings, catfish with fries & greens. All were delicious. The wings served as whole wings makes for a messy meal and could have used 30 seconds more in the fryer to crisp them up. I'd have enjoyed them better if the wings were served as flats & drums vs. whole. Our server, Mama D, couldn't have been sweeter. We will go back. Their $5 happy hour from 5-7 seems like a great deal, but we didn't order what was on special.

    Visited this restaurant for the first time with a WDRB Be Our Guest coupon.. We chose to go to the Brunch buffet. The fish was delicious. I would have preferred the wings to be battered but they were ok. Salad was basic spring mix but vinaigrette was good. The rest of the food was a mix of breakfast choices and only slightly warm. Nonetheless, the atmosphere was lovely, the staff was extremely nice and the jazz music terrific. We were only ones there but we visited early. Hopefully this nice place is able to survive this economy.

    I highly recommend Black Jockey Lounge for your pre show meal when going to the Palace theater. The food and service was excellent. My wife and I plan to visit next time after a show because the live music looked very entertaining
