We love going to Blackhide on Caxton Street and thought we would try out the new Casino one, The view of Southbank is great, the food was very good, the service left a bit to be desired. The waiter was slow to come for first drinks, then it took a while for entree plates to be removed, there were enough staff on but they were all hovering around the food despatch area instead of paying attention to the customer's. I expect a better level of service from Blackhide, it was a fair bit below Caxton Street standards.

My wife's 56th Birthday was well celebrated and both John and Frank Gambaro made her feel very special on our Friday Luncheon. we had a table of 8 and all food was presented timely and tasty. cant wait for our next celebration at Black Hide. Mikey and Cinderella

First time going and will definately be back. Steak was a little bit undercooked but it still tasted amazing. Great location and perfect for our date night

Lovely steak and wine and bonus points for not charging for sauce. The hand cut chips were tasty but could have been crispier. Dessert (strawberry pavlova) was an absolute cracker! Highlight of the night.

Oysters were delish! However, the steak was very fatty! We waited an hour and 15 mins from starter to mains. The bill was wrong (was charged for a bottle of champagne instead of two glasses), this was fixed. Disappointing evening overall.

FOOD QUUALITY WAS GOOD HOWEVER STAFF WERE VERY SLOW TO TAKE OUR ORDERS WHICH MENT IT TOOK 2 HOURS TO GET ENTREE AND MAIN MEAL. DIDNT SEEM TO BUSY AT THE TIME.
