Hands down one of the best experiences on Nantucket! Amazing food, staff and environment. From the moment you are greeted by the amazing hostess, to watching your food come off fresh and delicious, and the proof as they say…is in the pudding! Hats off to BES!

Another excellent meal from BES. The chef greeted us and chatted at the counter. The linguine and clams is a must. So fresh and delicious. Great specials too with an interesting mix!

Price point has risen meaningfully for such a casual setting, but it's still great food. We love the linguine with clam sauce and really enjoyed the new eggplant dish. Had a great convo with the chefs about creativity and new directions. Evidently, a new menu is on the way!

Restaurant is BYOB but we were charged $10 per person for wine glasses. I think that is very high! Food was good but not great.

We just enjoyed a wonderful evening at Black-Eyed Susan's. The Dining Room had a wonderfully warm and romantic vibe with candles and flowers on every table, and the service was outstanding. Our server welcomed us and immediately began to explain in vivid detail the plan for our dinner as well as special additions to the menu. Throughout the evening she checked on us. always making certain that we had everything we wanted or needed. Our food was terrific with many wonderful and unique flavors. We give Black-Eyed Susan's our highest recommendation for a superb dining experience.

Always a treat, particularly sitting at the counter and watching the food prep, chatting with the chef. Highly recommend!
