   Very relaxing atmosphere and wonderful waitstaff. We are always happy to enjoy a comfortable night out here. Food? Is a little over priced for what you get. Presentation is good? But could be far better…..I ordered the special swordfish entree which was priced at 49$. The swordfish was very good and perfect size at 8 oz. Asparagus was cooked very well. However, they threw whole fingerling potatoes that were either microwaved or boiled onto the plate. No spices, no sauce, and literally had no taste. I mentioned to the waitress, who was wonderful, chef should have split them and pan roasted them. So for the money? Wasn’t worth it. My husband had the chicken sandwich and enjoyed it.

   Usually a good meal (not today) - chicken sandwich was a dry as shoe leather and the restaurant’s reply was “o sorry”…. eventually they discounted the sandwich 50% - but they really didn’t care. Server was pleasant and attentive, but indifferent.

   Food was not good at all. Pasta overcooked and mushy, sides with the haddock were totally precooked and cold.

   Pear and walnut salad was absolutely outstanding. Sat upstairs overlooking downstairs which was beautiful. No toilet paper in the bathroom and our server was meh.

   We had a awesome server, Gina she is the best! Our food was amazing. I had the steak tips and they were cooked perfect! My guy had Short Ribs as well as my sister and loved it! My brother in law had Salmon and he loved his as well

   First time at the black cow, service, drinks and food were fantastic, definitely recommend..

    Great dinner this week. Outstanding service that was not obtrusive but right on time. Porkchop was done perfectly and my better-half thoroughly enjoyed her shrimp scampi. We will return in the future.
