Easy to make reservation. Greeted at the door and seated within a few minutes. Staff was friendly and very informative. This was our first visit and will most likely return.

Our meals were very good. The only disappointment was our table. I made a reservation on 11/26 and requested a quieter table since 11/30 is our anniversary. We were seated directly across from staff station area - so not the setting we had hoped to enjoy especially when there were a number of empty tables for most of the evening. Again food was very good

I recently had a bitrthdst celebration there for my birthday. My wife reserved a private room which was nice. However people kept coming in randomly (the hostess staff not associated with our table) to show the space to others and didn’t even acknowledge us which was very rude. We also waited an hour and a half for our food!! We had to talk to a Manager to get the food which was then disappointing because the steaks were not cooked correctly because they were obviously rushing. Medium steak well done, rare steak medium, steak with varied cook temps thru out the steak etc. The drinks had to be sent back several times. They messed up a simple martini when we asked for gin we were given vodka, old fashioned was terrible etc. The highlight was the dessert and Leo. But we were DENIED a discount on the bill despite multiple service failures and red wine spilled on a jacket. Very overpriced for the level of service and food.

Black Bull steakhouse was the best decision I've made in a long time. I went for an anniversary dinner and it was the most exceptional dining experience I've had in a long time. As someone who has been working full-time in every facet of the hospitality industry, I could not have been more impressed. My meal was the 16 oz Bone-In Filet that was cooked to perfection at Medium Rare, and her meal was the 8 oz. Filet cooked to perfection at medium. The service was prompt, knowledgable and incredibly swift. Leo provided world-class service and he deserves a promotion. If you get the luxury of dining at Black Bull Steakhouse, Leo is the only server I want going forward!

Went there for "date night" with my wife last night. Was surprised we got a reservation with only 2 hrs notice. The parking lot was packed so that was a good sign that people were going there and that the last minute reservation wasn't because of it being unpopular. I hadn't been to the restaurant in like 7 years and noticed the inside had changed, and all for the better. The food, drinks and service were good. It was a bit loud, but I guess that's expected for the place being packed. We liked the idea of the cigar bar / lounge for after dinner. But when we went down, it was a bit smoky for our liking, but expected. We decided to have another drink and dessert at the bar upstairs and that was equally enjoyable. All in all, we'd definitely go again. It is pricey, but what steakhouse these days aren't? It won't be our regular date night destination, but we were both very happy and satisfied with our night out at Black Bull.

I have eaten here numerous times with friends. We always have a great time. The food is always good. They do a better job with their steak than they do with their fish. Prices have gone up steadily, but then again they have everywhere. Be prepared to pay cash to save the credit card surcharge

Ordered the lamb chops medium rare. Although taste was good, they became well done after being served on a sizzling hot plate.
