Regular beer and burgers place. Food as good as expected, service was prompt and attentive. Ate at lunchtime so place was virtually empty

An excellent meal served by not overly pushy or overly attentive staff. Thoroughly enjoyable experience, I'd highly recommend this restaurant.

Unfortunately, the steak was fattier than usual here - I don't mind a little fat, but there was so much on this I cut it off and left it. I was also given the wrong kind of chips, although I didn't think it worth mentioning at the time. Service was friendly, but this was not one of their better meals.

Delicious food, great value (huge portions!!) and lovely service. The atmosphere is fun and welcoming. Ideal for commuters at Waterloo station who want a proper restaurant vs a train station take away. Can’t wait to go back.

Absolutely delicious- and better value than some other places that cost more. Prompt and friendly service too. My go-to in the area!

It was our anniversary in London and we just came from the theater and they let us in early. The food was AMAZING!!! Especially the ribeye steak. So tender and full of flavor. My husband had some delicious olives and a martini, I had the crispy butterfly shrimp. Everyone was so helpful and accommodating. We’ll be back 😊

After my last experience of the steak frites, I was avoiding that - had a simple sirloin, pepper sauce, sauteed mushrooms, fries. OMG, it was fantastic. The steak - much different from the "medium" steak I was given last time - was delicious, too good to douse in the sauce, which I used on the chips instead. That was a toss-up, mind - they were excellent too. I had peppercorn sauce, instead of the Bearnaise I don't like. And wow, the mushrooms were moreish.. such a rich flavour. With another ice cream sundae to finish, as I remarked as I was leaving, on foot of that meal, I'd be back..

I had the steak frites, but not sure I will again- the steak was good, but a bit undercooked. Also, I don't like the Bearnaise sauce that comes with it. The frites were lovely, as was the ice cream sundae, and service was terrific! I also appreciate how wine is available in a carafe.
