This was our first time visiting this new restaurant, and we were definitely impressed! The sides were all delicious. The steaks were seasoned really well, the only issue is that a few were overcooked slightly. Wine menu was excellent. Oysters were incredibly fresh but we all seemed to have some shell peices in ours. The staff were very friendly. Definitely going to come back!

Wellesley has a new steakhouse & it is amazing! Highly recommend you visit soon. If you can’t get your preferred reservation time, enjoy your meal at the bar.

Went to Black and Blue for our anniversary and the staff made our dining experience truly special. We were greeted warmly and our server Tony was just spectacular. We were gifted a sparkling wine toast and ordered the caesar salad and crab fondue to start. The salad was not overly dressed which I really appreciate. The fondue had lots of crab chunks and these delicious deep fried things they called wontons, but they reminded me more of pita chips. For our main course we had the red snapper and the ribeye. Sides were broccolini and the hash browns. Loved the hash browns! They tasted like large, rectangular, upscale tater tots. Yum. The fish and the steak were cooked perfectly. We had to save room for dessert. The dessert menu had a few items I’ve never seen on a menu so I was intrigued. I ordered the banana cream trifle. It was like crème brûlée and banana pudding had a baby. Very delicious. The restaurant has a large bar area and the dining room is comfy yet booshie with a dash of library chic. Industrial, but warm and inviting at the same time. We had a great experience and highly recommend checking them out!

Appetizers and entrees were very good , salad pretty disappointing.. wait staff very nice but overworked., so we had to wait quite a while for ordering , food and check. But we’ll definitely be back , as this was our first visit.

I enjoyed my entree two mini filet mignon with crabmeat and asparagus. I had peppercorn sauce on the side . Its not alot of food but we split 2 appetizers as well so I left full. Shrimp cocktail was good and the crabcake was okay. What I mean is light on the filler (bread crumbs) but there were a few bites where I felt I ingested salt. Part of the crab cake was heavy on salt. The restaurant gave us complimentary deserts for our birthdays. The waiter Johnathan was very personable and attentative. The Asst Manager also checked in on guests. She was very nice and shared some history about this restaurant. I would return to try something didferent on the menu.

B & B has been open only a few weeks. Very diverse menu. Our server, Summer, was terrific was extremely knowledgeable about everything on the menu. Great appetizers and sides. I had the Cowboy Ribeye with Crab Legs and they were excellently prepared. Atmosphere was vibrant. The Manager, Brian, stopped by to greet us and gave us some insights into the operation about the new restaurant. Wellesley has a winner here!

Best dinner out in a long time! Jonathan was wonderful again for our second visit. Food was delicious, especially twin filets with crab meat. Pork Belly appetizer and mixed green salad were excellent. He picked out a delicious wine and recommended a perfect rye manhattan. Can’t wait to go back. All the staff are friendly and attentive too. Well done!
