Really loved the steak and tuna tartares, our server Steven was very nice. We were not fans of the filet mignon, dry and tasted kind of burnt. Wines by the glass were excellent.

This restaurant has tremendous potential. When they get the kinks out of the system, it is going to be wonderful. The service still needs to be perfected to match up to what they are trying to do here. There is a lot of staff, but not all are fully trained yet. On both occasions that I have been there, there were several spills, drops and breakages – clumsiness, nervousness, or inexperience, not sure what? The other issue is that much of the food was lukewarm or cold, although very tasty. Food should be served hot at an upscale dining establishment such as this one. Their processes definitely need some work, but I have high hopes that this is going to be on par with Capital Grille once they get everything sorted out!

The meal was ok. But they forgot the sides, and then brought them out long after the steaks were brought to the table. Then, instead of bringing a correct side, they brought an extra entree, and basically said we were getting more than we had ordered. But that is not what we ordered. They were nice about it all, and took some off the bill, but it wasn't great. For dessert, I ordered two scoops of ice cream, and they put them in two separate bowls. That was strange. Everyone was very nice, but seems like the kitchen and service need some getting up to speed.

Engaging waiter, interesting menu, a bit loud, tuna tartar was disappointing, chopped salad was ordinary.

First time at the Wellesley location, what a great looking restaurant, really nicely designed, the bar looks amazing. As it is very open, noise got very loud, but we were at a table by the wall so not too bad. We have been coming to B&B for 7+ years, Williamsville, Burlington, and now Wellesley. Service has always been a high point, B&B does a great job with its staff. The food has always been very good, we had a steak and the grouper last night, done to perfection. Love the wine selection and chose Molly Dooker which was excellent. B&B is doing it right and you will not be disappointed. Well done B&B with the new location.

I am such a fan that I am now almost a regular here! We dined with a large party last night and everything was fantastic! Again! Highly recommend!

Tonight I went to Black & Blue for the first time to celebrate my husband’s birthday. My medium-rare filet mignon was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious (with a hint of rosemary), and the bearnaise sauce was some of the best I’ve had. My son had a Porterhouse steak and my husband had a NY sirloin—both delicious as well. We started with a wedge salad and shared creamed spinach, asparagus and mashed potatoes. The waiter and his assistant were very attentive and helped us enjoy our evening. I loved the ambiance and the curved booth we sat in was quite comfy. I’ll be back!
