Thanks to the Coravin System, we now have the freedom to pour a single glass of wine from any bottle without opening it. Excellent service by Calvin and Jamie. Food was wonderful. Steaks were cooked perfectly. Had oysters and crab cake appetizer and they were great. It was my wife’s birthday and a complementary flourless chocolate cake was brought which was delicious and much appreciated.

Overall food was very good. Side portions could have been more than what was provided. Although very good. Service, Sheri, was excellent!!!

I have dined here a number of times and as expected, the food was delicious and the service was great. We were a party of four and ordered a variety of items starting with pork belly and crab & lobster fondue, both were a hit with the table. Main courses were diverse to include the Halibut, Salmon, Filet and Bone-In Ribeye. Everyone enjoyed their meal without complaint. I recently have been to three or four high-end steak houses and will say unequivocally the value here cannot be beaten. Table of four, with drinks, appetizers, desert and coffee for what you will pay for a table of two. Will absolutely be back.

Service was fantastic the entire evening. Our server went out of her way to ask our daughters what types of flavors they liked in their drinks and then had the bartender make them mocktails (not on the menu) Shellfish starters (shrimp and oysters) came out quickly and were great. Chicken dish was moist (not the typical dry overcooked chicken many restaurants continue to put out). Sides (mac and cheese; cauliflower gratin) were delicious. The Alaskan king crab was cooked well, but had a slight iodine-type flavor which to me often suggests it was perhaps not as fresh as we would have liked. To be fair though, the taste was not off-putting; my daughters still enjoyed them a lot. The restaurant delivers a lot of food for the money and is someplace we will definitely be visiting again

Honestly, the entire level of service and especially the quality of the food has gone down noticeably over the last year and a half. We have had dinner at Black and blue about 10 times, and it was much better several years ago than it is now. When three people at your table order filet mignon, and they were all chewy and not cooked properly, you have to ask yourself why you’re spending this kind of money.
