This system protects the wine from oxidation using Coravin's proprietary technology, which leaves the cork in place while the wine is poured. I came here to propose to my fiance and damn i'm glad I did! Our server Neil and the rest of the staff really went above and beyond to make it an unforgettable moment. The proposal went even better then I could have imagined. Honestly the service alone would be worth giving this place a 5 star rating but I also want to mention that the food was incredible, it had great presentation and was absolutely delicious. The craft cocktails were strong and tasted great. I highly recommend this restaurant and will make a point to return the next time I find myself in Albany.

Zack and Neil were our servers. We were not familiar with Italian the wines on the wine list. However, Neil asked what I usually like, he then relayed that to the sommelier, who recommended one. It was delicious. As was the entirety of our meal. We had the crab and lobster fondue (excellent), we both had the filet mignon, along with various sauces and sides. Everything was made to perfection. My husband had asked for seating in an area that was low traffic, and we were seated in a booth, which was perfect. We had never even been aware that booths were available at the restaurant. We will definitely request a booth, going forward. As we were celebrating my husband's birthday, they even brought out a lovely dessert for us to share. We enjoy going to Black and Blue, when celebrating birthdays, and anniversaries. We highly recommend.

I am an Alaskan girl….I know Alaskan crab…I ordered it expecting full fat legs. No, I was served the skinny lower legs. How disappointing. Everything else was fantastic, the staff were super attentive. I know they had the nice fat legs, I saw them served to another table. The lobster served to my husband, one was perfect, one was mushy. The bread was tasty.

We return quite often for a reason. Disappointed there wasn’t any specials & that the snapper was not available. Grouper was available as a backup. The younger bartender certainly knows his cocktails. Best ole fashioned around. See you next month!

We were passing thru on our way home and gave it a try. The steak was good.. the sides were not very good. Sweet potato wedges? Cauliflower casserole was served cold. Service was bad… we kept seeing our waiter walk back and forth but not stop. Not a very good value for $200 dinner.

Dinner was absolutely perfect. We were celebrating our anniversary. We had the king crab legs, and the fillet highly recommend.

We were a party of four, three of us ordered steak dishes and one ordered the mushroom pasta dish. All were excellent. We ordered two appetizers, both quite good. We each ordered a side to go with our entrees and that’s where we were less than impressed. The Mac & Cheese’s taste and texture was more like risotto than Mac & cheese. The hash browns were not crispy and needed salt. The sweet potato dumplings did not have much flavor. The sides were also pricey for the amount you got. Service was excellent.
