We ate the Porterhouse and a filet. We were celebrating my mom’s birthday. The sides we had were the asparagus and Mac and cheese. They were excellent. For dessert we had tort cake. Delicious as always.

Looking forward to the first meal here for a special occasion. Not worth it overall. Our table was very loud. Appetizers arrived long before the first order of drinks. Wait staff was sporadically attentive...swarming or ghosting! Lobster tail entree @ $89 was small and sinfully undercooked and inedible. There are much better choices...nothing special about this!

The ambience is trendy and unique. I am not one to complain but several ready observations I hope are helpful to the business. We sat with our back to the kitchen and had a nice view of the restaurant; however, looking up above the row of tables at the drop down lighting, there is a significant amount of dust on those fixtures which are directly above the tables. My next observation is on the food. The menu had a very nice selection and it was very attractive and brought us here to try this restaurant. I ordered the 7 oz filet medium rare and it was overcooked; my wife ordered the 14 oz ribeye and it was supposed to be cooked medium and it came out completely gray through the whole cut. Both instances are not acceptable for a steak house. I also added the blue crab and this was also overcooked and rubbery. I do not write any of this to be difficult and I did not complain to our waitress as this was not her fault and my wife is uncomfortable with those conversations and as this was a special occasion I chose not to speak up. I do feel confident based off of the service level that this would have been remedied. I truly believe they would make it right. So I write this review in the hopes they will take this as constructive criticism and an opportunity to improve.

Celebrated my girlfriend's birthday dinner last night at Black & Blue. Everything was perfect. Our waitress, Kat, was exceptional. Food was served at an appropriate pace, as we had requested. Drinks were excellent. We went with the rack of lamb and the pork chop special. Highly, highly recommend.

Took my fiancé for a birthday dinner. My first time at this restaurant. Was very underwhelmed by both the food and the service. My steak was overcooked and not that flavorful. The waitress was not attentive at all and seemed hurried and distracted. Not a good experience especially for the price. Ruth's Chris and Prime 677 are far superior.
