Overlooking the historic Borough Market, Black and Blue has been a Borough mainstay since 2001.
A modern British American steakhouse where you can savour delicious steaks or burgers whilst
watching the bustle of the market or sip one of our signature cocktails in the bar whilst trains rattle
overhead.

Perfect for your business lunch or dinner, a more relaxed drink or meal with friends, or a fun
weekend or night out. We will entertain you in either our spacious restaurant, busy bar, or private
patio.

Your private events can be hosted in our exclusive mezzanine above the bar, please contact us for

Really enjoyed our food, my husband ordered from the fixed price menu we shared the prawns for a starter, he had steak and I had the Pork Ribs and they were delicious. Both managed a dessert. Last minute decision to visit but would definitely go back if we visit London again.

Great dining experience in the midst of an upmarket popular area of London, service good with attentive servers, recommend outside seating area....although I'm a non smoker for those that do 'you can sit an smoke' after you have enjoyed your meal

Good hearty meal and good sized portions. Can thoroughly recommend bbq ribs.Only downside was noise from nearby underground station

We always eat here on our visits to Borough Market. We eat from the lunch fixed price menu which has great choices and is very good value. Food is very good, great quality produce and well presented. Friendly and attentive waiting staff. Would definitely recommend. ⭐️

Took some time to find it as Apple Maps had it in the wrong location. Food (spare ribs) were excellent as was the salad that it came with (plus fries). Service was efficient but not over friendly. Lots of things on the menu to go back for. Wine list was really good.

we had a lovely meal. The staff were lovely, attentive and the restaurant was great. Food was lovely and overall lovely venue if you like to chat in a lovely quiet restaurant

Having read the reviews of the steaks, we decided to give this restaurant a try. Sadly our steak was not good at all. Half of it was very fatty and full of sinew and little flavour. This was not improved by the fries which could have come from MacDonald’s. The manageress was very good and did deduct our steak from the meal, and was very receptive to our feedback. We must say the Pinot Noir was absolutely delicious and the restaurant itself very clean and nicely laid out. Sadly, we don’t think we’ll go back for steak again.
