Very disappointing experience last night at BJ’s Brewhouse on Long Island (NY). I made a reservation on Opentable for 3 at 6:30 and was seated promptly. Our waiter was helpful enough, but seemed to be out of reach a lot of the time that we were there. Her section didn’t seem that busy (3 tables), however she wasn’t attentive. We waited 20 minutes for my dad’s beer to arrive and at one point finished both sodas and had to ask for refills which took about 10 mins. During the wait time I went to the ladies room and the floor was strewn with paper towels. I proceeded to the first stall and the toilet liners were balled up on the floor, used toilet paper balled up on the back of the toilet. The middle stall also had toilet liners on the floor. Before returning to my seat I went to speak to the hostess and I did see her head to the restroom with a broom and dustpan. My biggest concern was my meal. I ordered the $19.00 Thursday Tri Tip special (with the free Pizookie). At no time did the waitress ask me about the steak’s temperature. She made it point to ask about my daughter’s burger (which we ordered medium well). That said, the steak arrived well done and very dry. It took about 10 minutes to find her and when I explained the issue she offered to have it remade with the desired temperature. I asked how long it would take and she said she’d put a rush on it, but it didn’t arrive fast. At that point I’d already enjoyed the appetizer, salad and some of my fries so I asked her to box it up and said I’d take it home. My dad and daughter were basically done with their food and wanted dessert. Later, I cut into the steak and it was tough, with little pink and a large white middle. I threw it out. Very disappointing to spend hard earned money on a meal that seemingly wasn’t made with care or concern. I’d be hard pressed to return to that location. I don’t eat out much and was in the area visiting my elderly dad and kicking off the first day of my summer vacation- bummer.

Recommended by my mother. Food was okay and the place was nice but our entrees took over 45 mins to arrive and it wasn't even busy. If the server apologized or mentioned there was an issue, then I would be okay but no comments must mean that's normal. Not acceptable.

We were blown away by how great the food was throughout the night. Not in a bad way, but we were expecting the usual bar type stuff, but everything from the guacamole, wings and burgers was fantastic. The hand-crafted cocktails were also excellent and the service was top notch. We look forward to our next visit.

My first time eating the ribs and tri-tip steak. I was not thrilled with the taste of either, don't know if it was the sauce or the meat itself. I used to enjoy the food at Bj's, after this one, not too much anymore. Prices were high at the end.

The food were excellent, we were very pleased and want to go back again with more family member. I passed the place almost every week I never see it until my sister friend referred us. And Brendo was very nice. I really love BJ'S Restaurant because they don't have a lot salt on their food, and you can taste all of the ingredients on the food, and also they give you a lot of food for your money it was worth it. I am recommendint BJ'S Restaurant to all of my family member and friends

Food was flavorful, Nice selection of wines and the waiter was very attentive. They need to clean the cutlery better though. I had to ask for clean cutlery twice! Also, The toilets were disgusting. If I had visited the bathroom before eating, I probably would have walked out.

My hostess was great, she was very professional and friendly. My server was attentive to us. She was very knowledgeable about the food and drinks. Very pleasant. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will be going again. I was recommended to this restaurant and my server Tiana Young. Great job BJ’s
