Time counts at BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse. Since our humble beginnings back in 1978, we've continued to refine our brewhouse experience to make BJ's a place where you can make the most of any meal. We want BJ's to be a place where the moment you leave is the moment you plan on coming back. We pride ourselves in our craft and attention to detail. Our guests come here for our award-winning handcrafted beer. They come here for the Southern California twist we've put on the Chicago-style deep dish pizza. And they come here for our Pizookies®, our world-renowned dessert. But above all we know people come here to make their good times better. The ribs were very good. The asparagus were too salty and the sweet potato fries were just room temperature. Other meal of burger and fries was good.

To all reviewers, You " should" read! this! "BEFORE" our party of 6 dinner last night (the 23rd of Oct.), I had gone into BJs website and read several reviews that were warning Me of exactly the bad experiences "WE" had at our dinner. I usually check all reviews of Any travel, hospitality and restaurant sites, and "Usually" pay attention to them, didn't this time and regret it. So yeah, more pressing issues in the country than having, (as ususal) a bad post pandemic experience, doesn't matter what they're selling, this time a dinner for a Granddaughters 21st Birthday... Because I didn't pay attention to what I had read from past reviewers, our celebration was ruined because didn't even get seated from a 6:30pm reservation until 7pm, red flags started showing from past reviews when still sitting there 45 minutes later until dinner finally arrived, with all the past review problems, kitchen understaffed, not enough waitress help, all the Boo Hoos that paying over $200+, those problems are not supposed to be the customers problems! Anyway, some are probably reading "Why" did You stay seated waiting for over 45 minutes. We were stuck into a food bill, we ordered some appetizers READ THE REVIEWS AND PAY ATTENTION TO THEM, NOT AS I DIDN'T...

Was short staffed and had only 50% or less of the menu items available. Server was good. But unrealized expectation

I'm not sure what's going with the Sparks Nevada location but this is the second time we've experienced subpar service. Last time we had a bad experience and reached out to the manager to express our concerns. We were given a gift card and decided to use it on 10/18/24. We made reservations through Open Table for 930pm. The hostess was nice and informed us the kitchen was behind. No big deal as long as we had beverages. However, we were sat and no one greeted us at all. We were there approximately 15 minutes. A table was sat behind us and their waiter greeted them as soon as they were sat and took their beverage order. I asked who our server was and was told she was in the back. Meanwhile, within a few tables of us, what looked like the manager and a server having a deep conversation about receipts. Needless to say, we left and went to Outback. Hopefully, with some new leadership or additional training, this location will get better. BJ's has great food, unfortunately, we have to drive to Reno in order to enjoy it. Thank you

We had the BEST experience our server Melissa was absolutely FANTASTIC!! We enjoyed our food, ambience, and our experience was a 5 out of 5! We’ll definitely make future reservations!

MAKE A RESERVATION ONLINE!! We waited 15-20 minutes even with our reservation. Once seated, we waited another 15 minutes for our server whom was ‘new’ and did not have any knowledge as to the beer or wine options. We ordered our drinks and appetizer-drinks came rather quickly however we waited 20 minutes for the appetizer. Once we ordered our entrées, we waited another 20 minutes. The prime rib was good; and the sides were OK. Because we were there so long already we for hooded our free dessert as it included ice cream and that would not keep until reaching home Overall, we were there over 2-hours and the bill was $105.00 for (1) appetizer, (2) weekend value deal entrees, (1) soda and (1) tap beer. Food was okay NOT GREAT; the price was high; service was excellent; it was a 2-hour minimum time commitment even with the reservation for good food at a high price. Probably not revisiting regularly and especially not on Friday evening.

The food was below average. Steak seemed to be reheated in the microwave. Had an odd yellow sauce that was greasy. Pizza was lacking sauce and cheese, and was cold. Very expensive meal for what we got and the quality was all around disappointing.

Service was slow. They were probably short staffed. I'm not sure how much was the fault of a lack of kitchen staff. Soup was served to me cold. I sent it back and just asked waitress to microwave it. Otherwise it had a good flavor . I ordered ribs, Thursday night special. they also arrived cold, along with my baked potato. I owned my own restaurant years ago. There is sonly one reason for cold food. It's sitting in the window too long. The ladies restroom was gross. we asked the hostess twice to have someone restock it. We all ordered dessert and it took forever. This is their signature. Surely they would have these standing by. Waitress was friendly and tries to do her best. But we won't rush back.
